Mahrez is desperate to leave Leicester and was spotted in a Paris airport this morning waiting to fly to either London or Barcelona.

Leicester don’t want to sell for anything less than £45million and have Chelsea and Barcelona gunning for the Algeria international.Barcelona-based newspaper and loyal club mouthpiece Mundo Deportivo claim Mahrez is 'crazy' to join the Nou Camp club.
But Express Sport understands he won't be heading to Catalonia. Barca have Philippe Coutinho as their priority signing and have an extra day to secure the player as Spain's transfer window closes tomorrow.

Mahrez is what like 5.9/5.10...the guy in that photo looks at least 6ft to me. Either that or he has super high hipped lady legs

Why would you respect the guy?

He's a great player but his attitude has been piss poor for a while now and at the end of the day he's just some footballer who doesn't really respect us as a club or care about what happens to us.

Like Kante I don't have to respect him just because he's a hugely talented footballer - he thinks we're a nothing club that he can do better than (even though his performances since we won the league don't exactly support his viewpoint).

What about what we've done for these players? Plucked them from obscurity and made their careers for example. But they quickly forget that.

That's BS. Did the club have loyalty  for Ranieri?

There is no "loyalty" in football when you are a professional. It's just a job.

It's only for fans where "loyalty" is important, not for the club or its employees.

I think I, like perhaps a lot of people on this forum wouldn't begrudge him a move to Barcelona. Mainly because they aren't a rival but also because it's Barcelona, one of the biggest clubs in the world. It's a step up. Personally respect would be the incorrect term but I'd quietly applaud him for gaining his dream move.

Pretty much this.

Doesn't mean it's right but unfortunately that's football for you.

Players come and go but us fans will be their 'til the end.

Ben Jacobs says Mahrez going to Chelsea for £45m but the club says there has been no bids for Mahrez.

11pm can't come quick enough. I hate deadline day.

Would the club not have to accept a bid and give mahrez authorisation to talk to other clubs? Seems very premature on his part to leave the Algeria camp if we haven't even accepted a bid. Or maybe the club are bull shitting and have agreed to sell him

Ben Jacobs is the most reputable source I have seen yet. Not that he is perfect, but he works for ESPN, they have *some* standards for reporting rumors, even on twitter. Sure, they muffed it very recently, but at least you know they have a real source.

Sky sources saying leicester have had no contact from Chelsea about mahrez and have not received any improved bids for Drinkwater

management said that there where no offers from Roma just for shakey to come out and say that they received a bid?

That didn't happen like that.

Roma bids were never denied
