Arsenal do not rate Mahrez- bid £92m for Lemar!

If Marhez in indeed in Paris then he's well poised to meet with Arsene. The Lemar deal will need to be closed within the next two hours, he's in the French squad tonight and Deschamps won't tolerate any contracts being dangled in front of his players during the preparation for the WC qualifier against Holland.

No I would not.

Not it sure how good Lemar is though either

Same but seems to be the flavour of the week at the minute.

I think we need Lemar to go to Iiverpool to let coutinho go to Barca and Sanchez stays.

I don't think he's desperate. I think he's taking poor advice from an agent that is absolutely desperate to make a huge commission before the rules about agents and payments inevitably change - Its probably his only chance to get rich so he's absolutely going all out to get Mahrez a move.

If Mahrez was as desperate as he seems he'd not be playing ala Coutinho/Sigurdsson etc.

I just think this is down to the fact that Mahrez is more of a professional than Coutinho is. And the fact that Coutinho was wanted by Barcelona whereas Mahrez was wanted by Roma, not exactly an inspiring option in comparison.

I'd be surprised that Drinky would be fit. And secondly I think others would be played ahead of Mahrez. He'd be on the bench most likely if this goes ahead.

I imagine that mystery injury will magically clear up by tomorrow if he gets his move.

It's a good laugh that's why.

I'd love him to be stranded at the airport and no one goes in for him. Would laugh my arse off. Even more so as the Algerians would be crying over it.

Seriously though, they may be bellends, but they're still worth some money and we need to make sure that we don't let them go until we're in the best position to make the most of the money we do get.

I don't care who he goes to and I don't care about his career, but I do care where it leaves us as a club. Are we prepared for Mahrez and Drinkwater leaving? I'd suggest not, and I blame the club for that.

Dont be silly. While good banter, he ain't stranded in an airport but somewhere with his agent negociating with another club representant. Which club and what deal is about be done or not remains to be seen.

You come across as incredibly bitter. The club plucked out of obscurity and they in return gave us the most incredible achievement in the club's history. The club failed to capitalize on that success and they want out, like any of us having a better job opportunity. They're not the first and certainly not the last. That's how it works.

As much as I want them to stay and wishing them to fail and laughing at them if they do is a limit I wouldn't cross. Mahrez made it clear at the end of the summer that he wanted out and behaved professionally in the meanwhile. The club probably knew he and Drinkwater would go way before that. If they don't find an adequate replacement blame the club, not the players.

And I'm yet to find the same bitterness about Drinkwater. No? Thought so.

Like I said - That'll be his agent advising him. Probably told him 'I've spoke to Barca they may be interested so hang around'. Whilst in reality said agent is absolutely whoring Mahrez out to everyone and anyone chasing that commission.

Yep and it was his agent that told him to come out and release a statement in July.

Nothing to do with Mahrez wanting out

and you think he'd be match fit? unlikely.

Maybe not, who cares.  Just saying that the DD injury is probably fictional.

Well why is he in London then (allegedly)?

Why would we accept that this late without a replacement anyway it would be crazy if we did i mean  1 of the worse decision we have ever made

Im more convinced he's leaving for Cheldea because

1. Why would he be allowed to leave the Algerian camp to go to Europe? Makes no sense.

2. What is he doing in London? Allegedly. Imitating Peter Odemwingie

Barca is a no. They have Coutinho and Dembelé. The only other option is Chelsea. If it fails he stays
