Finley Parsons Posted 21 August 2017 Posted 21 August 2017 Opinions on the entrance of our players, personally like the trumpeter, I think it is more original than others. Also what do you think about all off the flags and tifos, I also personally like them as it creates a bit of atmosphere. Let me know what you think below!

The flags looked cheap close up but the effect looked good from a distance. Got to wonder about the environmental effect of disposing of the flags and clappers left behind though. And those flame throwers nearly melted my face off they were so hot.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 I thought it looked very good, set the tone nicely - and we scored within a minute!
urban.spaceman Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 Love the flags and the Post Horn Gallop. The fire stuff for big games is good too. I just wish they'd let @Union FS guys do more Tifo's - the club's efforts are good but UnionFS's are phenomenal and really add to the occasion just that bit more; like they're made with the passion of the fans rather than the club's employees. The vibes for the Sevilla match was utterly unparalleled from anything I've ever seen though. Amazing and hilarious Tifo, flags and music, and the palpable sense that the whole crowd was really up for it too. Best game I've ever attended. Thank fvck they stopped playing the remixed Post Horn Gallop tho.
Bayfox Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 Can we stop calling them tifos when the club do it.

Brilliant experience which made me so proud of my Club
lgfualol Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 Never liked the trumpet. I want to see the club replace it with a kazoo.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 Love the PHG, best bit about our pre match build up imo.
nnfox Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 I thought the flames were brilliant. The Premier League is a huge global brand shown all over the world, there should be more of this type of fanfare! The pre kick off video though. Last season's effort nearly brought a tear to my eye every time I saw it. It was amazing, epic, even most of the away fans were captivated by it and applauded it at the end. Whilst this year's video gets better as it goes on, it is a little bit "meh" in comparison.

steveherbe Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 Watched the Seville video above, made all the effort UFS put into it wortwhile. Just amazing, dont think I'll see another night like that. A real goosebump moment.

Kitchandro Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 The Post Horn Gallop is essential for every home match Leicester ever has. It is the only traditional thing the club has left. It would be nice if WYS could be included in the pre-match ritual, but I get the feeling no one who works at the club really knows anything about the club's history ot traditions. They're more interested in plugging terrible marketing phrases like #fearless (surely people can see that it wouldn't have a hastag unless it was a marketing ploy?!) I'm not a fan of the flames, American and corporate. The only decent Americanism in sport is cheerleaders. As Bayfox says they are not Tifos, by definition, when the club organises them. You can tell when the club have done them because they're mostly very basic and when they try to do something a bit clever it looks awful (the fox eyes using the winch was amateurish). The club needs to stop doing them asap. When the players walk out they should see the passion of the FANS. Not the clubs marketable 'atmosphere'. What the club should be doing is letting the fans get on with it. What would help is if they let fans bring their own flags in without all the nonsense of a fire safety certificate (seriously, what is that all about?!). The hypocrisy of making our own fans go through all that hassle whilst you let off flame throwers at the side of the pitch is staggering.
Ted Maul Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 The video of our classic goals, Nessum Dorma and Post Horn Gallop are all excellent, really build a good atmosphere. Hey Jude and PHG jazz version are awful. We'd be much better off playing WYS before kick off and Underdog by Kasabian as they come out for the second half.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 Could really feel the heat off those burners up in row HH

No one was singing. Find it all rather pathetic myself rather sing a few songs... oh sorry I forgot we don't seem to have any songs anymore.

Flames do absoloutely nothing for me.... only time I think it's justified is in a Wembley final. If flames have to get some people excited then I'd question why are they even at a football match in the first place. It's not WWE.
