Montpellier can’t deal with the Tigers maul, it’s just supreme.

It really is! We still look really suspect when trying to run with the ball though, but that can be worked on over preseason.

Unfortunate, that Ford drop miss costly.

The South Africanisation of European rugby disappoints me.

I imagine the French rugby teams

riches are no different to how the rest of Europe views the Premier League when competing in Europe

Very true there - but it’s rife in the English Premiership, it’s effectively killed club rugby in South Africa and left them scratching around to find a worthwhile competition

Yeah, Sale, Tigers and Northampton all have a number of South Africans. They're generally considered good value for money in relation to the salary cap.

It’s a definite improvement on last season but tonight just proves there’s some way to go.

Naive and poor decision making on occasions with odd slip in concentration cost us tonight.

A decent defensively solid  Montpellier side who only really looked in danger when we got our maul going in their ‘22.

Very unfortunate but I’m sure the Tigers are on their way back - tonight was a step in the right direction, a European final with something to build from. It’s been a shite few years but a club with the pedigree that they have, you won’t keep them down for long.

Is that what Tigers fans or saying or are they quite rightly measured in their response to an improved season?

Yeah, Tigers fans have never shown any signs of entitlement in the past... In all seriousness though I think generally the views are quite balanced and they can acknowledge that the team are going in the right direction.

They’re probably still on their 2006 high horses lol

Tickets on general sale for the game at Worcester tomorrow. Their fans not buying because a) they are crap and b) it stops their entitlement to a free season ticket for next season

Makes sense. No relegation means it's a dead rubber for them anyway.
