There's nothing to suggest we have successfully signed Silva, and the buck stops with Rudkin - surely he should have been covering all the bases on deadline day (and it shouldn't have needed to go to the wire) to make sure the signing was all done and dusted in time I have a job involving working to tight deadlines - it's generally low responsibility but if a deadline is missed on my part, I would expect to get a massive bollocking/disciplinary action.

I agree with you 200%. I am just saying Rudkin is innocent until it transpires he or a member of his staff have indeed screwed up. If guilty, then he should be removed.

Yeah fair enough, I suppose there's a chance Sporting could have been messing around. Just feels that there should have been a solution beforehand, and if his signing hinged on Drinkwater leaving then we should have demanded dealings with Chelsea ended earlier in the day. What other cases like this have occurred before? If we were unsuccessful in an appeal, does anything happen?
the fox Posted 5 September 2017 Posted 5 September 2017 Rudkin's reaction to the forum putting him back to the "most hated" list.
bpfox Posted 6 September 2017 Posted 6 September 2017 deal should have included a clause if silva did not go through then Danny remained a foxes player. bet u all Chelsea would have made sure we got silva.

We need to form an angry mob.
ARM1968 Posted 6 September 2017 Posted 6 September 2017 Pitchforks and flaming brands (Jo preferably). That's what you need for a proper witch hunt.

Harsh on Ndidi but that's what I'd like to see when everybody is fit! So on the right hand picture Iborra to sit in front of the back four, Silva in front etc... I must have missed the traditional years of the 2-3-5. Was that played in the 1930's/40's?
Mr Mister Posted 6 September 2017 Posted 6 September 2017 John Rudkin is absolutely doggo. Surely the title is sarcastic.

SouthStandUpperTier Posted 6 September 2017 Posted 6 September 2017 Kind of puts me in mind of the map at the beginning of Dad's Army....Who do you think you are kidding Mr. Rudkin? If you you think the transfer's done.
4everfox Posted 6 September 2017 Posted 6 September 2017 Just out of curiosity, does anyone actually have any proof that Rudkin is to blame for any failed transfers that have happened in the past or is he just a scapegoat?

He's Director of Football, if he has nothing to do with transfers then what the hell is he doing? Can't say his time involved with the youth set up has been that successful either. As a director he's a senior member of club management and thus must take responsibility for things such as transfers which happen under his watch.

Susan Whelan ever get involved? Your just looking at someone to aim your fury at and it's pathetic.
Out Foxed Posted 6 September 2017 Posted 6 September 2017 this guy has some serious dirt on someone to still be in a job

Being the Director of Football could mean a whole host of things not even connected to the transfer side of the club. Without categorical proof of Rudkin's involvement in transfers then surely the logical thing to do would be to point the finger at the Head of Recruitment, it's literally Macia's job.
Chrysalis Posted 6 September 2017 Posted 6 September 2017 rudkin can do no wrong apparently The guy is a liability sorry. Rudkin is senior to head of recruitment and the manager, he is the highest position for pure footballing matters.
LittlethorpeFox Posted 6 September 2017 Posted 6 September 2017 yeah lets remove him for one mistake, what about the good signings he's made

I'd like to reiterate my desire to see some evidence to back up your claim, which appears to be nothing more then a slanderous accusation.
