Yeah ...   and child on board stickers doesn’t mean they know how to drive a fvckin car !!

I think that they serve a purpose and can really make a difference

Normally I try and kill every other fvcker on the roads but when I see one of these stickers I go all mellow

True.

The fact that a large percentage are historically racist bigoted thugs intent upon trouble, may well be an outdated assumption on my part. Perhaps we shall see next season Iz?

Fair point, I remember the days of the Leeds Service Crew and they were horrible bastards. I'd like to think they've moved on from those days and personally, I think they'll be a big asset to the PL and it's atmosphere if they go up...

Tis the season of goodwill I suppose...

If we're doing confessions, I'm a closet scouser.

I'm Leicester 'til I die, but if I had a second team it would be Liverpool.

Fair play bro

And while we're on confessions, my first ever football hero was Kenny Dalglish and I had a small picture of him in a wooden frame above my bed when I was about 5 years old. Then my Dad took me to see Leicester and everything changed!

Yes mate, I watched it on the plane in the summer on the way back from hols. Thought it was absolutely superb and would highly recommend. I know he comes across as a sour faced old Jock sometimes, but I thought the documentary showed a much different side to him. What a man and what a player.

I often look at "great" players from the 70's and 80's and wonder how they'd do in today's game and I think some of the greats from the past wouldn't cut it, but Kenny definitely would. If he were a 20-something today he would be a top 10 player in the world

When I was a little boy living in Germany (I'd never heard of Leicester) I drew the liver bird crest and hung it on my bedroom wall next to a picture of John Toshack.

Pretty fluent with good accent in both languages, too....

His "Standard English" is better spoken than the Queen's. :D

Really?

I think that’s probably the worst attempt at a scouse accent I’ve ever heard.

In which case I implore you to avoid his Glaswegian dialect tutorial.

Yep, same for me. Wouldn't say anything bad about them given my experience everytime I'm in Liverpool.

When we started going to the big Slammin Vinyl / Hardcore Heaven raves as kids we were always warned to watch out for the Birkenhead lot in the raves, starting trouble, nicking stuff, etc.

Can safely say that they were some of the friendliest people we met, always up for a laugh, dance and chat - not that any of us were in any state to understand a word they were saying most times.

My mate missed his train once and somehow managed to blag his way onto one of the Birkenhead coaches at a service station. He said they were super welcoming, shared their supplies and insisted that he spend the evening with them at the rave.

Those events were special like that tbh, bought people of all walks of life together for the music and the drugs. One big happy family for 12 hours on a weekend.

Explorers/Discoverer

Not all of them but pointless self indulgent ones.

on BBC news this morning this Captain skied across Antarctica. Why?

The British Antarctic Survey are there for a reason,he just fancies a few months off.He was doing it for a friends memory who died doing the same thing the other year.Whilst carrying a flag of his friends family crest( we all have them don’t we?)again why?

if you are doing it for shed loads for charity I get it a bit,but where do these people find time to do it.

i have news for this bloke it’s already been discovered.
