ZeGuy Posted 19 September 2017 Posted 19 September 2017 It sure makes a difference when you play with 11 men. Not taking out anything from Okazaki's great performance.
Finnegan Posted 19 September 2017 Posted 19 September 2017 Iborra's tackling is my new favourite thing. ????

roblcfc84 Posted 19 September 2017 Posted 19 September 2017 Two subs have made a big difference - Shinji for us and Coutinho off for them
AlloverthefloorYesNdidi Posted 19 September 2017 Posted 19 September 2017 Slimani has not played well today. No awareness going forward

Hopefully it's simply due to a lack of minutes and him getting back up to speed. I like King and I think he does a job but to compare them is wrong, Iborra is trying to play a different type of game, you can see in his hand movements etc that he's trying to talk and manage others. With other options along side him plus an out ball he will run are midfield. There was literally no point in slim and Leo being on at the same time
Finnegan Posted 19 September 2017 Posted 19 September 2017 Just when Shinji thinks he's got the worst haircut on the pitch, up pops Danny Ings.
kingfox Posted 19 September 2017 Posted 19 September 2017 Danny Ings has been out for so long he looks like he's actually just been rescued from kidnap.

Monsell1976 Posted 19 September 2017 Posted 19 September 2017 the amount slagging Iborra off after his first game of the season, but can't write a manager off after 5 games. The bloke hasn't played in England, been injured, looks off the pace, but ffs give the bloke a chance

Ted Maul Posted 19 September 2017 Posted 19 September 2017 I actually quite like Iborra. Some of the stuff he's done tonight has been absolutely mental. Hopefully he's just a little off the pace and he can start connecting on these wild lunges and bicycle kicks.

cityfanlee23 Posted 19 September 2017 Posted 19 September 2017 Quite pleased with Dragovic today, only 26, him and Maguire could form a decent partnership.

Would love to see him in a 3, it's his natural game and gives to many more options for the short pass.
