I always thought this thread was super deluded.

Guess we’ll see how deluded (if at all).

I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed.

Would love Benitez to come in and with the rumours of the takeover he could be a bit unsure of his place at Newcastle.

If if we want to be progressing as a club then we need a reshuffle upstairs and in the backroom staff as well as Shaky going. Need to be ambitious with the appointment and get some sort of blueprint of how we are going to progress

I would've thought there was no chance Rafa will leave now. He'll have backing and a team above us in the league - a "big" team.

But he also has a twat of an owner who is now trying to sell up. Rafa won't be getting a penny until the sale is complete, and knowing how tight Ashley is, it will drag on in to January, and knowing him possibly into next summer lol
That's literally the only reasoning I have

Rodgers had one of the greatest players in the World (Suarez).

A racist who got banned for 10 games I believe

so Rodgers only had him when the racist wanted to play

Big Sam?

To summarise:- "I would consider a return to management if someone wanted me, but I would be very picky as to which club I'd go to". City perhaps would perhaps fit the bill, with Shakespeare as an Assistant, as he was in Sam's England setup? A defeat by West Brom tomorrow night, or even a draw, could bring all that nearer?

Big Sam ?!

A man thag started his managerial career   In ireland

they have taken him to a certain well known fish shop on welford road and that’s sealed the deal

Because there's a big difference between our owners and Mike Ashley. Those having a pop at 'The Thais' in the other thread might do well to look at Ashley's record at Newcastle. Treats the club with contempt much of the time.

Ashley's about to sell.

Here is my Manager shortlist, half are unrealistic, but we should have them on the list for the banter.

Ancelotti

Tuchel

Wagner

Rafa

Dyche (worst case)

Howe (would like)

Hiddink (Although he's too old to be long term, so unsure)

Paulo Bento (Gerrimin)

Silva

Enrique

De Boer

Laurent Blanc

If we get desperate - Big Sam
