For me, it's nonsense. He is a male. That is a fact. He has a pair of testicles and a penis. Scientifically, he's a MALE. I cannot fathom stuff like this. It's illogical. I have no issue with dressing up like a woman or being homosexual, but that doesn't change the fact he's a MALE. Also, is it me, or do a lot of younger females these days now seem to be lesbians. It's almost like it's the 'in' thing. Thoughts....?
Izzy Posted 25 October 2017 Posted 25 October 2017 I can’t see this thread ending well. That’s all I’ve got to say!
Wymsey Posted 25 October 2017 Posted 25 October 2017 Feels like too much of a controversial subject matter to comment on.. But have praise for those changing their gender and being public about it. That is some courage.
Guest MattP Posted 25 October 2017 Posted 25 October 2017 The World just gets weirder and weirder doesn't it? I wanted an ironing board when I was about five, if that happened now I'd probably be having tablets put in me and being assigned something to try and make me a woman. No wonder most people are ****ed up.
Guest MattP Posted 25 October 2017 Posted 25 October 2017 What letter of the alphabet are the ones who wake up decide which gender they are day to day? I fancy a go at that. Even more so on Ladies night.
Webbo Posted 25 October 2017 Posted 25 October 2017 You'll notice that there's a list of his concert dates under that article. Co incidence? You decide.
stevelcfc Posted 25 October 2017 Posted 25 October 2017 Gender and biological sex are 2 different things. One is a set of physical characteristics, the other is predominantly a social construction.

At the end of the day, it may seem a bit weird but it's only words, thoughts, feelings, it's not harming anybody. People can identify how they want and you can privately judge them however you like as long as you're not doing them any physical or psychological harm.
Stadt Posted 25 October 2017 Posted 25 October 2017 Could you imagine if you'd grown up feeling male but you were actually female? It's difficult to imagine but it'd be pretty awful for people to not acknowledge or deny that you can feel that way even though biologically you were a woman. I agree with the notion that some identity/gender politics goes too far though, there's some freaks out there instilling militant gender politics into kids and that's not on at all - when you've come out of puberty only then you can know definitively what gender you are. Raising a gender neutral child has got to be confusing and damaging in their formative years.

Biologically that’s not true, something like 1 in 2000 people are born intersex, so statistically there are a couple of hundred intersex people in Leicester. Psychologically it’s even less straightforward. I don’t like the way gender identity is being forced on kids but grown up blokes can feel like a woman all day long as far as I’m concerned, it’s none of my business, good luck to them.

What is intersex?

Dr The Singh Posted 25 October 2017 Posted 25 October 2017 I studied this at psychology, and most people have a infinity to most gender types. Funnily enough I only like women or women who have gone through surgery to be a women
Lionator Posted 25 October 2017 Posted 25 October 2017 Caster Semenya is a good example. People state that she shouldn't be running in Women's races and looks built like a man, is she a woman or man?
