From Reading that link from the Mercury its awful how people have been treated

if it is to do with Lcfc buying the place it’s not going to reflect well on the club or the owners

There's literally nothing in that article that will reflect badly on the club or the owners.

Mock all you like but I’m not saying they can’t accept the offer

but to treat the people like they have not just people who have events booked but the staff who work there as well

whether people want to believe it or not but if it’s because Lcfc are buying the land that this has happen then it will refect badly on the club and owners

There is literally nothing about it that will reflect badly on the club or the owners. It's the responsibility of the current owners of the golf club to look after their staff and customers.

It's business mate. Things change.

The current owners don't have to sell if they care that much about their employees.

If by the club and owners you mean the owners of the golf club, yes. If you mean city and vichai, not at all. The football club isn't responsible for the actions of the golf club, and no-one who isn't a jibbering eejit would think they were.

'The manager was out playing golf' sounds about right for 'the manager'.May have contributed to his problems. over a period

His dad though is a different type and I'm pretty sure he will treat staff and customers correctly in the circumstances..

Shame if its just a business failure  If its LCFC then its been kept very very quiet.

I went to have a Sunday carvery meal there around a month ago (up the stairs to the first room you see, with quite stunning views looking over the course), and the restaurant area was packed due to the popularity of it.

Apart from the downstairs bar, upstairs restaurant and most of the course, genuinely thought other areas of the premises looked tired and lacked invitation imo.

Posh? Maybe 30 years ago but it turned into a game for chav wannabes who pollute the countryside.

Years ago used to go to a really nice place in Ashby called the Pump Room or something like that. The owner died and it re-opened under a different name. Ran a village shop and had a woman come in moaning about them cancelling her wedding reception told her the guy had died but was having none of it. She wanted to go to the press sue them and all sorts pointed out that the poor bloke had literally just passed on but that still was not a good enough reason so maybe some will still blame the club

It’s life.... and is anyone going to turn down a multi million pound deal for literally ****ing off? No... nothing to do with the club at all, they enquired and the current owners sold... simple.

So you and Bert are saying that Botcheston Golf Course is 100% going to be the location of our new training ground ?

It appears very unlikely now..
