Wymsey Posted 18 December 2017 Posted 18 December 2017 Reckon this will be a thriller with them and us going to really go for it; and Man Utd will park the bus on Saturday and thus will probably be 0-0. Must ensure the former team don't score as long as possible.
Shanghai Posted 18 December 2017 Posted 18 December 2017 Vardy off ( need to rest. stop playing him every much needs rest and he can put more goals ! Okazaki , slimani or ullola in !!! Chelwell For Fuchs for his attakes effort ? That’s City we have to surprise them ! Gray - mahrez both ( but please plays more balls to mahrez ! Gray is good but not magician!!! Puel should notice that in every much mahrez gives more balls to gray but not the opposite ??? Why ???they are both good and better for the club !!! and also we need to give Simpson some rest too : he needs it 2
Spicer Posted 18 December 2017 Posted 18 December 2017 I think Man City will put close to a full strength team up. Pep needs to win things. So I don't think it really matters if we put our first or second team out, we'll take a beating. Kasper Amartey Dragovic Fuchs Albrighton Choudary King Chillwell Thomas Slimani Musa
norwichfox Posted 18 December 2017 Posted 18 December 2017 Goal-less game and one of the City's to win on Pens.....I hate games decided on pens.....

Farrington fox Posted 18 December 2017 Posted 18 December 2017 This will be comfortable for them. Fully expecting us to field a much weakened side. I would expect them to start a strong side.
brucey Posted 18 December 2017 Posted 18 December 2017 (edited) Our U23s have gone full strength for their match today, without any senior players. So no kids but possibly any of the fringe first teamers vs Man CIty tomorrow. Edited 18 December 2017 by brucey
Stevosevic Posted 18 December 2017 Posted 18 December 2017 Judging by the predicted lineups nobody has read what Puel said.... He's going to be using our strongest players.
Chico1958 Posted 18 December 2017 Posted 18 December 2017 I'll be honest............... I don't care If we get beat it'll all be "Peps so great, his team are so great, he must be the son of god, don't they just play some amazing football etc" If they lose, it'll be "Peps saving the players for the next game, his team is so great, he must be the son of god, didn't they play some amazing football though," Oops nearly forgot. Leicester were lucky, the ref was poor. Rant over, go get them you real Blues............ Ps: You might have guessed I'm not a great lover of Man City and I don't like the other lot much either..... See 1969 3
Smiffy Fox Posted 18 December 2017 Posted 18 December 2017 I’d go with this: Kasper Amartey Dragovic Maguire Fuchs Ibbora King Gray Okazaki Chilwell Iheanacho
420Hashish Posted 18 December 2017 Posted 18 December 2017 Has anyone ever thought what would happen if Musa and Iheanacho play together?
baldeagle Posted 18 December 2017 Posted 18 December 2017 Well we can rule out any off the U23’s starting as most are playing tonight
Guest worth_the_wait Posted 18 December 2017 Posted 18 December 2017 "I think Man City will put close to a full strength team up. Pep needs to win things" Pep needs to win things ????? The way things are going, Man City will have won the Premier League before the League Cup Final!
Spudulike Posted 18 December 2017 Posted 18 December 2017 CITY....there's only one CITY and they play in Royal Blue. Some seam to forget that. 2

Quorndon_Fox Posted 18 December 2017 Posted 18 December 2017 For what it’s worth I reckon we’ll put out a strong side. The owners want silverware and European football, this is a great opportunity. Not sure about anyone else but I’m genuinely excited and up for this one!
sdb Posted 18 December 2017 Posted 18 December 2017 My source at Man City (seriously) says they're putting out a second string. Says to lump on us if we put out our strongest XI. He he also told me they were signing Ryan Bertrand in the summer though so who knows.
Stevosevic Posted 18 December 2017 Posted 18 December 2017 Puel has already said it will be a strong team and according this the owners want the cups to be taken seriously: 1

One of the few games i'm able to attend, want us to be reet fuching at it
Guest Col city fan Posted 18 December 2017 Posted 18 December 2017 I reckon we'll win this one. Hows that for positivity. 3-2 us
Wymsey Posted 18 December 2017 Posted 18 December 2017 Presume Man City will have more allocation than a normal league game for this?
foxfan92 Posted 19 December 2017 Posted 19 December 2017 Won’t be this but here’s what I might be tempted to try ... hoping to give us more clout in midfield especially with Ndidi’s absence Kasper Dragovic Maguire Morgan Mahrez King Amartey Iborra Chillwell Shinji Vardy Bit harsh on Gray and couldn’t work out how to include Albrighton either without leaving out Mahrez but those two aren’t bad options to bring on as subs if things aren’t working. Dragovic could also be swapped with Fuchs. Would just have to hope Amartey plays better than he has done and King has one of his better games too.
Dan Posted 19 December 2017 Posted 19 December 2017 Nowhere near as worried about this as a lot of people. I think Man City will play a nearly entirely changed side - which obviously is still a good side but Wolves held it for 120 minutes. There's no way on earth we'll be as bad as against Palace. I don't think it's even possible.
