I wonder who will play. I'd go for a strong line up. Seeing as we will probably only have 30-35% of the ball I'd put Okazaki in for Albrighton/Gray.

Play like we did against Southampton we may get a result, play like today and I fear a cricket score, just wonder which team will turn up. I’d like to see Vardy rested though.

Tough one. I want us to go strong but at the same time I don't.

We can't play Vardy every game but Ulloa is doggo, Iheanacho seems to be going the way of Slimani and Slimani is just gone. Okazaki never struck me as a line leading striker. Vardy makes sense as we will be dominated but could cause problems on the counter.

I'd go

Schmeichel

Amartey Dragovic Maguire Fuchs

Choudhury Iborra King

Gray Iheanacho Albrighton

And hope for the best.

All depends how strong a team Man City play. If they pick a team to win it they will.

Their "second" team is the likes of Aguerro, Gundogan and Bernado Silva.

Vardy seems to do well when Okazaki plays. they should be in the team together or out together and play Slimani (who?) when Okazaki isn't playing. Mahrez has had 2 great games this season and a lot of average/dross. Don't think Mahrez can play without Okazaki either and he doesn't want to play with Gray. Albrighton can play with anyone. Ndidi can benefit with a rest after his sending off. Morgan needs a rest and Simpson needs replacing.

Hamer/Kasper

U23 player at RB

Dragovic

Huth

Chilwell

Iborra

King (Choudhury for a pressing game if Vardy starts)

Albrighton

Okazaki

Gray

Slimani

Vardy and Mahrez on the bench

No Ndidi.

Would still go for the next strongest possible side and try to make amends. Shinji must come back in.

Ndidi is not banned for a cup match or???

If we beat these, reckon there's a great chance of winning this competition (albeit it feels like a fake competition that's quite fixed from the draw fiasco..).

Shame this isn't in the FA Cup but still one to lick lips at.

Suspensions include domestic cup games. So yes Ndidi is banned for this.

My one hope is we were so poor today, because we’ve spent the week trying to perfect a tactical master plan that will completely baffle Man City and see us romp to victory.

Then again... there isn’t a way to beat this Man City side is there? They can only implode and beat themselves I would imagine.

They'll play backup players too. They don't have many central defenders. We can surprise them and hold on.
