They want consistency but do not think that means consistently bad, he lost the game after about 2 minutes, Albrighton gets bundled over on the edge of their box and he waves play on. Same challenge happens  numerous times and he awards free kicks normally against us. If you book players for pulling back or trying to stop play which is a bookable offence you give a booking Amartey, Albrighton but you also book Pogba Thought he actually got the Kasper penalty incident right as Kasper does get a touch on the ball something Sky seem unable to grasp but then he misses a clear foul on Maguire which he is looking straight at. He does actually help fire the players and fans up with his reffing though

Grossy incompetent, I wonder how many millions his inept performances have cost clubs. I guess I'm the only one on here that thinks Rashford "fell" against Amartey to get him sent off deliberately lol

It's pretty much like I said the umpteen times he's reffed us and done alright between now and West Ham, it is funny no one has anything to say when he does well.

Although he was bad last night i think the reaction is somewhat ott  Amartey second yellow was harsh even  if I don't know why he's making a tackle like that, there are people who are going to view that as a legit yellow. Kasper decision is not easy and he gets it right for me, and I struggle to critique him for Maguire because while it's a penalty I don't think a ref in the  land gives it.

He was more irritating than out and out terrible.

For me the only glaring miss was the Smalling climbing all over Maguire incident. From the camera angle he had a perfect view of Harry being impeded from jumping. I mean, it wasn't a clear denial of a goal scoring opportunity, but anywhere else on the pitch and that would've been a free kick all day long.

Think a lot of people have that West Ham game long in the memory, and rightly so. Probably shouldn't have been given a Leicester fixture since that debacle.

How can you say we benefited from his decisions in that west ham game he had already given them a penalty for absolutely nothing and denied us a much stronger shout after when they were manhandling huth in the  box not to mention send vardy off in very controversial circumstances (although I thought he was right for once)  the soft penalty at the end was the least the useless fat tosser could do after that performance.

It wasn't a penalty on Schlupp. He was balancing things out from before but it shouldn't have been given.

I'm not defending him, I don't like him as a referee and would rather he wasn't involved in not just our games but all Premier League ones. On balance, we've been hindered more by his officiating over the years.

Last night, he was inconsistent. That was my main gripe against him. He's been worse in previous games.

To be fair he’s created two of the biggest, last minute goal draws in the KP!

Which suggests he likes the drama and whistles according to what he sees fit as appropriate.

That amount of cards we received for virtually nothing means he's rather interested to be in the spotlight himself.

That in itself suggests he's not too fond of the rule book, can be lenient as hell on the "bigger" team.

The kindest thing you can say about him is that he's inept.

How can one team be on the receiving end of so many refereeing horror shows? I'd like to think I'm fairly philosophical about bad referreeing performances, but I can't stand the odious twat.

Wow!  You're all full of christmas bile aren't you.

I dont like Moss, never have.  I think he's made some daft decisions in the past - Kasper/Vardy etc etc.

I did comment last night that he hates ManUre more than us, because for the 1st 60 mins he gave us virtually everything.  The sending off was a sending off, the pen - I'd have given it.  Rashford, he was spot on.  But all in all I thought it was an ok performance.

Those that bleat on about inconsistency and the standard of reffing.  Ring the FA (your local county FA) and get yourself in a refs course.  When you know the "rules" get yourself out there. As Clattenburg highlighted, there's a bit more to reffing than knowing the "rules".  The key bit is knowing WHEN to enforce the laws and when to let it go.  From the comments on here I suspect that for your 1st couple of games you'd be exactly the kind of ref you come on here moaning about.

I dont mind an argument and debate about decisions - that's what football is about.  Something VAR will kill off!  (personal opinion, VAR will last a couple of seasons before everyone agrees it's left us nothing to talk about but 22 idiots kicking a bladder round a field ).

Pretty much everything in favour of United. The big decisions like Amartey red card were correct, but there was just a constant bias towards united in terms of 50/50 free kicks, giving united free kicks for challenged we get nothing for etc. He was just all round dog shit.

Pretty much sums it up ? One of the poorest ref on the circuit. And loves the big teams . Time for him to retire. Surely can't belong now.

Moss is just poor.  But many refs fail to deal with utd like teams fouling as soon as the ball is lost to avoid a break.  They all fail to clamp down on centre backs holding the certer fwds... this...if tackled would improve entertainment. .. but they just dont

He must have some negatives of some big-wigs at the F.A. mounting a Donkey.

More likely, he is the end-product of some big-wig at the FA mounting a donkey.

Yes well I've always found the slaughter the ref after a bad game like he's not fit to do his job yet say nothing after a decent performance attitude a very odd one.

So glad he got booed off at full time. Won't change a bleeding thing though. Terrible ref

Yes but i took a childlike delight in watching 1000 hands waving the v sign at him.

The fa need to look at those refs who have more bad games than the mean over say 10 games.. .  And then punish them harshly ... recover their match fees... and send them for re education thru hard labour at a farm
