In retrospect I agreed with the Vardy sending off he made, but that aside he generally bottled his handling of that entire West Ham game.

Yesterday I think is one of the few times i’ve seen him and he’s been alright.

Overall, personally think Michael Oliver is the best out of the lot in recent times.

Admire him for the penalty incident at the World Cup, where Buffon was furious, that he decided on in challenging circumstances/pressure.

That was Champs League - Real v Juve earlier on in the year mate. But yeah Oliver is the best ref in the League, Pawson on his day probably the worst; inconsistant though and flukes an average one some weeks

Agree with this.  Also rated Bobby Madley, who has unfortunately quit.

So basically Jon Moss is a good referee if he makes decisions that benefit us but he is a bad referee when we don't like the decisions he gives against us?

And that right there is every single football fans opinion on every single referee

He is not a good referee, watching the refs at home here during the Champions League games, now they were good refs but Moss fails to communicate with players from when ever I've seen him.

He reminds me of a stern authoritarian teacher all in black, with cane at the ready.

Very good yesterday.

He’s had two disasters reffing our games but he’s been good the last few times we’ve had him tbf and yesterday top draw, could easily of just waved the pen appeals away and no one would of batted an eye lid but got his card out knowing hojbjerg was already on a yellow.

No, hes a good ref when he makes the correct decisions like he did yesterday. In previous games we've had him hes made several high profile mistakes both for and against us and in the west ham game he totally lost control of the game.

The best refs are the ones you don't remember who they are. Only 1 major decision yesterday and he got it correct, the first one was for a second offence that he did have pointed out and the  pull back is a booking. The dive was a shocking attempt at cheating nothing more nothing less. Has no place in the game and the saddest thing is Hughes trying to stick up for his player. His player tried to cheat and deserves to be criticised for his conduct trying to blame the ref just shows what a salty miserable type Hughes is

He didn't give the first yellow for the foul. If you have seen it on Sky he quite clearly tells the player it was a result of an accumulation of fouls.

Jon Moss, like every other ref in the prem needs video help. VAR and an improved version covering more but quicker for the future is a must for top level football.

We can accept no less.

The standard of refs in the premier league is awful, and hasn’t made a slightest bit of difference them going professional, and seems to be getting worse, as in my opinion, they act like they are as important as players, and have ego’s to match, Pearson on mike dean for example.

Jon Moss is one of the shittest ref in the whole football league, and shouldn’t be allowed to ref a Sunday league match ?

I beg to differ. Its one of the most hateful of tackles, you get beat by a bit of skill, so deliberately grab your opponent to stop play and allow your team to regroup. Saints did it several times yesterday, really pisses me off. In my world it should be a yellow every time, perhaps even a red. Thought Moss had a decent game yesterday - never thought I'd admit to that.

I think he was referring to Vardy's first against West Ham in 'that' game.

Unfortunately the current crop are the best we've got. The game has a chronic shortage of referee's so there's no way the FA are going to start getting critical of them. They do need to be given as much help as possible though.
