The midfield is and always was a problem. We missed Iborra greatly today and congrats for not recruiting any decent FB in three seasons. Silva's coming soon and I hope some the dead wood can be sold to whoever dumb enough to take them. No matter the price.

Set piece defending is a fiasco. Just enough said on that. 

 

Chilwell was poor. King tries but he's not good enough and we can't be starting games with him playing long term. Dragovic is simply not a right back and that area looks a big problem. 

 

We stopped playing football and just started playing unintelligent dross. 

 

Changes were too late from Puel.

people can't wait to slate the manager. he's clearly doing a good job and has been shafted by injuries, suspensions and generally having shit backup players kicking about instead of some quality depth.

We need better competition all over the pitch, there is a huge drop in quality from our best XI to the replacements. The likes of King, Drago, Amartey, Benalouane, Musa are just not good enough.

I really hope he's got the ****ing big heavy ballsack to do it - every other manager has absolutely pussed-out when it's come to getting rid of our baggage.

Puel needs to be the man and shift on the crap, hold onto the quality and we'll go places. If he lets 'the lads' convince him to keep the shite on then he'll sadly fall off and fail just like those before him.

Season over. Won't challenge for anything and won't get relegated. Decided to **** off the league cup against a team with several youngsters playing in it. Such a shame.

 

If we could do the basics right and not concede a set piece or two game after game we'd be challenging for Europe.

 

I know we've been spoiled recently but I hate when our games become uncompetitive and we can't do anything. Completely avoidable too.

Agree with not getting a midfielder in, but to be fair Drinkwater was completely wank last season.
