Best case scenario, we snatch a draw. But it'll be very tough scoring against these - their defense is excellent (joint second-best in the league) and their form near-impeccable (unbeaten in six), whereas we tend to leak goals all over the place since the start of December, only to make up for it late (the 3-0 home win against Huddersfield being a welcome exception).

Silva unlikely to feature at all after the U23 match yesterday, so we're probably looking at

Schmeichel

Fuchs

Maguire

Dragovic

Amartey

Mahrez

Iborra

Ndidi

Albrighton

Okazaki

Vardy

Good luck to you all.

I predict there will be tremendous doom and gloom and knee-jerk overreaction in this thread and match thread when team news is revealed.

You heard it here first :D COYB

If Burnley can go there and win, then we can.

Morata's going through a lean spell, so guaranteed he'll score a couple. 3-1 Chelsea.

Would be strange though if James is in the Chelsea team/squad.  You could argue that Silva has had better prep to go into the side rather than someone returning from long term injury.

We're reaping the stupidity of the weakened side v Fleetwoood though.  If we had put a strong side out we could have done the job and had a full week to recover.  Now we have 2 games in 4 days and will have to use 2 different teams.

I wouldn't be surprised if King does not play today instead of James

We have a great line in ending other teams' losing streaks but don't know whether it works the other way round - still we must hope

Isn't it time we beat a so called big boy this season? Surely we need to aspire to knock one of these feckers off their privileged perch?

Are Spurs not the very definition of a 'so-called big boy'?
