Was in there one day, and Ali Mauchlen came in. Challenged me to a game of pool. Best of three. One each, then he knocked in the black by mistake in the third...cost him a pint..

I've been in a few times, its lost a bit of its charm as an old boozer but it's not bad really, some good beers on and plenty of room.

I guess the poll is kind of old now, but the amount of love for Soar Point baffles me. I guess it's in a convenient-ish location, but it's well in need of a refurb and the price of beer in there is borderline offensive, just like the rest of the ex-Scream pubs.

I’ll be going to the soar point. Mainly out of tradition but they have improved it over the years and before covid hit the beers and food there was good. Hopefully it’s still decent enough now and I’m looking forward to going again on Saturday, it’s been a while.

The Western looks a bit of a no go now, with half of it now a Cafe. They've done the outside bit up though and looks okay. But think we're going to try the Bowling Green. Anyone normally use it as a pre-match pub?

Been in post match more often than pre, but it’s decent.
