Does anyone use it?

Just randomly scrolled through the website for the first time in a good while, and have to say that it's confusing and poorly laid out to say the least..

Really makes you appreciate the quality of this forum..

I lurk on there a bit but don't post. 

There's some O.K. stuff on BR but it's a bit amateur hour compared to FT really. My feeling is that the posters on there are generally a bit older than on here so I can maybe relate to them a bit more, but when a topic only gets a few replies it's not much of a conversation grabber really.

It serves a purpose though and those on there seem to enjoy it. I see both forums can live together in perfect harmony with no problem at all...

No. This is the only LCFC related thing I regularly comment on. The social media accounts seem to get stupid responses so although I follow the club's official account on twitter I do not comment.

I encouraged him to come over to the other side. "We have open letters and the Tinder thread, here" I said.

I used to like posting on Talking balls, there are some good people on there.

 

It got a bit too bitchy on there in the end. You couldn't say anything without somebody wanting to argue with you.I'm a bolshy tw@t myself but it even got on my nerves.

The other reason I don't use it -- happy to let it be a gathering place for the old time support without newbies all over it.

I'm guessing you wouldn't ask that question if it's the people I may think post on there, @lestagirl will confirm but I guess Snooty Fox, Longstop and the like would have been the regular watering holes?

Flask, Pint, Chair...I'm sure I've been threatened will them all.

When I first moved to Leicester I stumbled into an "unknown watering hole" and recall the chants of "neeew!"

I went straight the bar and stuck several pints on a tray and left.

You could be one of those that has enjoyed my brief hospitality.
