Flask, Pint, Chair...I'm sure I've been threatened will them all.

When I first moved to Leicester I stumbled into an "unknown watering hole" and recall the chants of "neeew!"

I went straight the bar and stuck several pints on a tray and left.

You could be one of those that has enjoyed my brief hospitality. :sweating:

Neeeeeeeew did that occur in Birstall? lol

Yep, when I first moved to Rothley from Oxford about 30 years ago. Bought the drinks and walked straight to the white horse.

Stanny  was my old stamping ground :)

And at that time !

Most on bentleys roof are in the 40-60 age range.

No censorship there, so some seriously "extreme" posts at times.  Not for the faint hearted.

Plenty of old time hooligan stories, if you like that sort of thing.

And lots of non football topics.

A good laugh at times.

I use it everyday... you just have to be old lol.... many of us actually know each other etc... Dont want to update it though cos many don't even know how to add a link :)

I've been looking at "Bentley's Roof" from even before it was called that, but never actually posted anything on it.  I do enjoy some of the posts on there though, especially from the saner posters such as yourself :)

It does require a bit of perseverance though to find the more interesting stuff - it is extremely random in the way it is (dis)organised!

Wandered through there occasionally, reminds me of one of the little old Working Men's clubs tucked away in a back street in the dodgy end of town. Filled with the same people, sitting on the same stools theyve always sat on,  saying the same thing they said in 1974.

Mind you, its a laugh.

Does anyone use it?

Just randomly scrolled through the website for the first time in a good while, and have to say that it's confusing and poorly laid out to say the least..

Really makes you appreciate the quality of this forum..

Did you happen to see Thracian there?
