Anyone noticed who Leicester play next week? Yep Man City away. The cynic in me can’t help thinking Man City’s last minute, derisory bid was designed in part to disrupt a key player and the squad prior to this match. Pep is as versed in the ‘dark arts’ as Mourinho - he just does it with a maniacal smile on his face that seems to go down much better with the press who fawn all over him and Man City. I reckon we won’t see Mahrez again until after this match which makes the whole thing a bit dodgy in my opinion. The FA should investigate this whole transfer attempt and the resultant fallout. When I saw the prolonged chat on the pitch earlier this season I said he was being tapped up and I was probably right.

Not sure if serious......

Man City will win the league anyway.

They don't need to unsettle our player in order to do so. With or without Mahrez, they'll probably beat us in either casee, and even if they didn't, they'll piss the league anyway.

Maybe. Yet Arsenal seemed to approach their signing from Dortmund In a different way.

Not only were Dortmund given time to find a replacement, Arsenal even helped with a sale of Giroud to Chelsea. Not sure why so many people are defending Man City's actions here.

you know what, i came around to funky's point of view, we are a far better team now (or we were before riyad went AWOL) and they are missing sane and jesus.

think they really wanted mahrez but the bonus of them messing the season for the club isn't far fetched. they are trying to lose the fewest points they can so the can go all in the CL. they saw a chance and they took it

He did it to help Swansea out because he wants Southampton to go down because he doesn’t like there style of play or their manager ex Man City boss Pelegrini

Southamptons boss isn't Pellegrini it's pellergrino. Hes the ex liverpool player and former alaves boss. Pellegrini is managing in china.

Theyd have probably beaten us with Mahrez in the team.

They wanted to buy him and their offer was too low.

Close thread.

I’d expect Man City to beat us with our back four plus 6 Riyad Mahrez...
