He ain't algerian. His father was but he's not. He was born, raised and trained in France. Algeria just collected the benefits without investing one penny or a second on him. He chose the algerian team because of his late father's wish, as far as I know, which is a pity since he'll never win anything relevant with your national team. You might have talented footballers but you don't have any stability or structures that will allow you to thrive. That's why you gave us a hard time in WC 2014 and you're going to watch this WC on TV.

he is algerian. yes he wasn't born here but he speaks the language, visited algeria alot and has close family here and he identifies as algerian.

as far as our national team goes, we think the same me and you.

I don't think he's coming back, he'd be relinquishing the only power he has; and if he did  Top would crush him.

so, people understand why he didn't show up to training then?

Can't and won't believe it will end like this. This can't be.

If he comes back now he'll be seen as weak, and I don't think Top will get into a protracted negotiation with him.

fixed.

If he chose that retarded path, he's done. Not playing for almost 5 months and then wanting to switch to a big club? Good luck with that.

how is giving away his only negotiation leverage he has can be seen as wise?

and what are 5 months to him? if he could be sniped for free in the summer smack dab in his prime, even barca and real madrid will come sniffing

That's a good point.

At this rate he won't play another competitive match until August..

Then his new club have probably got to wait another two months before he is match fit.

Brainless decision.

If a player is allowed to go on strike, because he did not get his own way, then Football is on a dangerous slippery slope and Contracts really are biased 100% in favor of the Players and Agents.  Frankly speaking, his Agent should be called into question by the Football Governing bodies, if he is anywhere near advising MahreZ to go on strike.  It is a shame we cannot treat the loaned-out deadwood in the same way we are being treated here.

IF I was the owner and the little fuk wanted to play for us again, I'd Trump his ass by giving him 3 options:- suk every teammates dik, take every teammates dick or take a 75% pay cut and sit on the bench. But that's in my world.

Your world involves a lot of d**k and pay cuts????! lol

Not a good look at all for him to potential clubs signing him. So he joins Citeh/Arsenal/Chelsea has a blinder and Barca or Real show interest what's he gonna do, strike again. Would you want us to sign someone who had done this at another club? Looking like a bad Apple. He was already known for turning up late etc. Now he just doesn't even turn up at all.

City players say he's 'emotional' which equates to potentially unstable. If he does play his mental state now is so fragile that we'll have a fraction of the player we had.

We need to move on, wouldn't it be great if Diabate really shines against Man City (I think he'll play).

Feel like I’ve finally calmed down over this now. Hope he’s gone asap and we recoup a decent fee but for me he’s ruined his legacy here. I know that doesn’t seem important to the modern footballer but surely at the end of your career you want one of the clubs you played for to be somewhere you can go back and be considered a true legend.

What he’s achieved here should put him in that bracket but for me (not everybody) his attitude has obliterated that status. As I said before I don’t wish him any harm but I don’t wish him any success either

He would do well to remember the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Look at Danny Benchwarmer can't get into the Chelsea side in front of a crap Bakayoko, still he is earning more.

Also Ngolo Kante not the player now that he was when he left us he has gone downhill rapidly.
