If he hasn't shown today and was expected I'm inclined to shift my position. We can't plan for the run in and assault on the FA cup with the uncertainty of he may one day return. Puel can't plan and organise a professional sports team like that. He returns tomorrow or bin him for the season. You can't have him swaggering in Thurs/Fri on the eve of a match.

My good will is now almost depleted.

I think it really is a week by week (or game by game) situation. I think he should be given the opportunity to get back in the side, however, I think he needs to start on the bench and show his worth when he comes on. If he doesn't perform then he remains on the bench behind Diabate/Albrighton/Gray.

Once (if) he comes back into the fold and regularly puts the performance in then he is a starter.

Would he agree to play again if a deal is sorted before the summer? FA Cup final winner as a little apology?

I personally think any reports like this from Pep are just trying to gloss over the fact that he really was just going for Mahrez because of injuries, rather than having long term ambitions for him. I will be surprised if Man City come for him this summer -  if they were that serious surely they would have come in earlier in the window when they could have negotiated a more favourable rate. I reckon he will end up at Arsenal still (poor guy, wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy).

In terms of the question, yes he should play again, no one wants it to finish off like this. It feels like he's been AWOL for weeks as so much has happened, but in reality its not even been a week yet. Fingers crossed he will be back this week.

If he comes back takes his medicine and gets on with that I don't see why not we are paying the goon 100k a week and no one is benefiting from this situation at the moment, but he needs shifting on in the summer.

I'm assuming he's being fined for his behaviour? Surely the club aren't paying him 100k a week when he's absent, i mean, he isn't depressed, not in the true sense of the word. He's being a petulant banker, and if we're to be believe he will leave in the summer then bin him to the reserves, and show him who's in charge. Give a chance to the players who are staking a claim to replace him and let's get used to not having him around. He's ruined what would have been a great legacy IMO.

This. His days are numbered, be it now or the summer. Let's plan for the post Riyad era by trying out other options.

Someone else posted earlier in the thread to say Man City could fine Tevez a max of 2 weeks wages.

I've been told that Mahrez buying a house in London is true, as someone I know knows the guy who helped him move

Good to set himself up ahead of a move up North

Or.... he always knew he wouldnt be going to Man City, has kicked off now so that we will sell him to Wenger for 40 mill in the summer

I think you're crediting Mahrez with a bit much here.

Might be several reasons for him to buy a house in London if what you've been told is true.

He already has a house down here. Not 100% sure but I think it’s where his family live and he probably travels back most days ??

It was reported in the papers and then someone told me they knew the guy who moved his stuff down

Who knows what motivates him now.  His agent probably told him to move down there in case Chelsea come in

He's a multi-millionaire.

I'd be surprised if he didn't buy a house in London. I know I would if I had his money.

What, so basically whenever he feels like it? No chance. You're in it or you're not.

I guess I am thinking in the short term (this month).

Wouldn't expect him to turn up late April when we are preparing for an FA Cup final
