I'm assuming he's being fined for his behaviour? Surely the club aren't paying him 100k a week when he's absent, i mean, he isn't depressed, not in the true sense of the word. He's being a petulant banker, and if we're to be believe he will leave in the summer then bin him to the reserves, and show him who's in charge. Give a chance to the players who are staking a claim to replace him and let's get used to not having him around. He's ruined what would have been a great legacy IMO.

Going forward. I believe he's been fined once so far.

We can't keep fineing up 200k a week it gets caught up human rights shit etc I think, don't know ins and outs of it but pretty sure you can't keep doing indefinitley, think the end result being the dissolving the contract (which is what he wants) although don't quote me on that. Could probably take him to court for breach of contract but it would be pocket change.

It's hardly my area of expertise though so maybe I'm wrong.

Ironic that he has the intelligence to invest in property, yet the ignorance not to show up for his job.

You guys don't get it. He is not "upset" because he didn't get a move, he is "upset" because he missed out in a golden opportunity. Had he joined City, he would've a starter as sané and Gabriel Jesus are injured and he would've gotten a free medal (If not more).

Man City will probably not be needing him in the summer.

No " probably about it " and he knows it.

It was reported in the papers and then someone told me they knew the guy who moved his stuff down

Who knows what motivates him now.  His agent probably told him to move down there in case Chelsea come in

From what I know it’s closer to Colney than cobham !

And most people at some point have fallen out with a family member to the point of wanting to disown them, but with a bit of work on both sides things can be resolved.

He was happy to win us games when Puel said he won't be sold this window, up until Man City got into his head and messed with it and everything has happened pretty quickly since then. It's frustrating but the worst thing that fans can do is pile in on him, this can be resolved to the benefit of the club and Mahrez.

I appreciate what you are saying but i'm afraid i'm big on loyalty and he had his one chance with me last summer camped out at an Airport. This is second time now and he can go F**k himself.

Would he agree to play again if a deal is sorted before the summer? FA Cup final winner as a little apology?

Why would he need to play or give 100% if the deal is signed and sealed. He would risk getting injured.

And for those of you telling us how great he has played this season I think you have short memories. Before his hair colour change he wasn't very good at all. And last season he was easily the most disappointing player in the team pre and post Ranieri sacking.

You'd have preferred he didn't turn up? Assuming it's true?

Would've thought they'd still go in, if there was a meeting between players, and/or their agents and the club etc?

Having said that, can see Mahrez wanting to be low-key in Leicester at the moment..

Being in London currently (or has been since last week) wouldn't be much of a surprise, particularly if it's true he's purchased some property in that region.

Well Seems like Arsenal hasn’t been put off by his antics so if they want him in the summer we should let them have him for £65m and we’ll take Lacazette off there hands as a replacement part of the deal as now they have Aubameyang looks like he’ll be dropping down the pecking order?

My gut feeling is that he will end up at Chelsea in the summer to join up with Kante and Drinkwater.

My reasoning being that I can't see Hazard being at Chelsea next season and they will need a replacement,

That should please the Chelsea fans ... well maybe not.

I sincerely hope he sorts his head out and resumes training this week. No way in hell he'll play next Saturday but I fully expect him to play against Sheffield United. Puel might even make him temp captain again. I desperately want his last ever game for Leicester City to be the FA Cup Final at Wembley.

I'd be very concerned about the state of our club if Mahrez was to be made captain, even just for one game, after the way he's acted.

According to the merc, he won't be at training tomorrow and Puel sounds as though he's now moved on and will be concentrating on the players that are with him - not Mahrez - he must be sick having changed the team to focus on Mahrez instead of Vardy.

Mahrez isn't even talking to the team and is leaving his "representatives" to discuss. If nothing comes of it City are going to contact the PFA for help in talks.

What is there to discuss?

He can't play for another team until the summer and he's contracted to us.

Just get your arse back and do the job you're being paid handsomely to do. You can have another hissy fit in the summer if you want.

Winker.
