Oh dear am i right in thinking last time we got to semi final of the FA cup (and i know we still have the quarter finals to go too) we played and lost to Manchester city, and that was about 50 years ago ? lol

Nope, 1982 vs Spuds at Villa Park.

Credit to Sheff Utd for making it difficult for us. Their keeper is destined for bigger things I reckon.

Agreed he looked good, blooming massive to!

Yay, just one win away from Wembley and just two wins away from...Wembley, I wish they wouldn't do that.

And,  only 11 league games away from Wembley!

We lost to Spurs in the semis in the early 80s.

@Wakeyfox  care to explain why my comment has confused you so much?

Was confused as I thought we were quite good,  not brilliant by definitely not shit.

Maybe there should be a disagree emoji. It wasn't really confusing tbh.

I think anybody that boo'd Mahrez tonight needs to have a long, hard think about what and where we'd be without him.

Job done. Not much else to say. Avoid Spurs, United, City (if any of them get through) in the next round and we should realistically be eyeing up a trip to Wembley. A lot to be positive about this weekend!

United are out. City beat them tonight 1-0.

Phew not as bad as i thought then. Although losing to Spurs is always bad :D

Particularly as they probably went on to win it. They used to win things in those days.

Lost to Manchester city in the final in 1969..1-0...and we were relegated!

Soooooo who is still in, checking on google and looks like aot of games are being played tomorrow?

Who do you guys want? Rochdale would be good but unlikely they will beat Spurs. Maybe the winner of Brighton v Coventry? or Southampton v West Brom.

Brighton would do nicely for me. They are not going to be worried about the FA Cup

I can't see Morgan or Simpson fitting in well with Puel's possession football. They're both excellent at what they do but Puel wants to do more. Simpson does seem to realise the change and adapt though.

The game wasn't amazing but it was good to see Mahrez back performing well esp with Vardy, Gray have a good game and Chilwell making some nice forward movement albeit showing no excellent defensive work.
