I find it staggering that the team currently in 7th place have scored less than 30 goals after playing 31 games???!

The season we won it, we were called "anti-football" by fans of the big clubs. What does that make Burnley then?!

Next two weeks are huge. Have to win next week and avoid defeat at Burnley.

I think we need to win them both if we seriously want a chance of being 7th.

N’didi out for both these games will be a big miss!

We don't have a hope in hell based on recent footballing performances, no N'didi for the next two, and Sean Dyche being a jammy gravel throat, whining poverty pleading ****.

4-1 and 2-0 wins away from home?

I don't know if I'm ready for the disappointment.

Imagine if we do Newcastle by a decent margin next week and Burnley lose!

But what about the bad things?

Very diplomatic of you.

I guess I meant that generally, aside from Man City, it's been a pretty poor season by PL standards.

I'd agree. I think we'll see Burnley place 14-16 next year

Burnley run in

Watford A
LEICESTER H
Chelsea H
Stoke A
Brighton H
Arsenal A
Bournemouth H

Can see them winning quite a few of these.

Yeah, I'm just upset that Burnley are better than us. The premier league table doesn't lie unfortunately.

Yeah, especially if they don't really strengthen their squad over the summer.

They deserve to be above us but at the same time, effective but boring style of play with lack of goals generally won't get you a top half finish, let alone 6th or 7th.

Every one of those sides other than Bournemouth and Brighton is a test for one reason or another. Maybe Watford is likely a Burnley win too.

Winning next week is imperative and a good performance out of a Silva and Iborra partnership will get me excited.

For some reason I don't back this current squad to achieve the heroics of recent years. Hope I'm proved wrong.

Come on Stoke today and Watford next week!

We need to beat Burnley.

We need to beat Arsenal.

If we do that, any result Arsenal v Burnley will see us in 7th....if we beat Burnley, they beat Arsenal, 6th is very much on.....

I think we may be able to afford a draw in one of them.

Has our Arsenal game at home been given a date yet?

We should be winning every game we've got left. There's no team we're playing we can't beat if we play well.

If we finish 6th I’ll eat a pickled sharks testicle.

Best lightly fried in olive oil and garlic.
