Do many adults get their name printed on football shirts?

I'm 25 and female (not that it matters) but I was wondering if I will look a bit 'silly' or 'sad' if I got my surname and favourite number printed on the back of a home shirt. I noticed the home kit is on offer and the shirt printing is only 25p per letter which is why I am considering it. Does anyone else have theirs customized (who is not a kid)?

If you're comfortable with it then do it.

I wouldn't  bother as they might peel off. Nothing wrong with getting your own name on it though.

Save the £2 and stop by the prince of punjab before next game :)

I put my name and the number 12 on mine and I’m a lot older! Ive never had any grief and even if I did I’d just give them a smack round the head!

At least 22 men have their name and number on the back of their shirts every weekend.

Ok thanks everyone. My main concern was that the printing was mainly aimed at kids not really about anyone 'saying something' but more looking a bit too old for printing. Now that I've heard there's others with theirs customized I am going to go for it! I would quite like a players name but wouldn't want to be left with a shirt with the name of an ex-player on so gonna play it safe and go with my surname which should never change!

I always raise a smile when I see people selling their old shirts on eBay with their names on the back.

There was one the other day with some name like Fletcher on the back and the number 8.

You have to be pretty lucky to get someone want to buy a recent old shirt anyway, then I assume, and am only assuming here that you have to find another Fletcher that wants to buy it.

Unless you know different? does anyone know anyone who goes around with some  other random fans name on their back.
