Yes correct, we quickly had to change the figure from Ranieri to Shakey.

So was the quote always planned to be from William Shakespeare, but with Ranieri holding the dog?

Got to be the best game I’ve ever been to. 

 

I was standing near the kop and one memory will stay with me forever. At 90 minutes when teams and fans are usually nervous, the whole stand got on their feet and roared “come on Leicester!” The whole crowd gave the players more energy to see the game through, which we did. 

 

It’s the sort of atmosphere we should aim to emulate in the cup on Saturday Sunday.

From memory that was changed at the last minute also. The banner along with painting the head was the last part to be finished.

There were a couple of options for the banner right up until CR's sacking. Then when Shakey took over, the Dogs of War quote was mentioned and it all fell into place.

Without doubt the best game I've been to and probably the best I ever will go to. As amazing as the title win was, there were no games like this one. Each goal, the penalty save, Nasri's red card. I remember celebrating Sampaoli being sent to the stands as if it were a goal. Just incredible.

Completely financed through the group and fan donation. The club are incredibly difficult to work with and put every obstacle in the way of UFS. 

Yeah all done as a hobby. Some group members took time off work to get this one set out and over the line.

Completely agree. It's a shame most of our supporters don't realise the power they have to affect results by getting involved more, because it's brilliant to be part of on the rare occasion something like that does happen!

The club don't pay a penny into it. Completely funded by donations from fans, UFS-produced stickers/scarves being sold and group members paying for stuff out of their own pockets.

 

No one gets paid for anything at any stage of the process. People just give up their evenings and weekends to volunteer when they can.

Fantastic  day from start to finish.....Dublin. Airport 1.10 flight to Birmingham...About dozen Leicester fans there along with four of us...some of the regular faces but couple of new ones....good banter especially when Johnny Giles Kevin Kilbane and couple of hangers on appeared ...They were covering the match for Irish TV......Bi rmingham airport car rental desk we had booked compact car Fiesta or similar for the 4 of us 25 quid for the day....bit of a problem as all small medium and full size cars had been taken by Irish punters  heading to first day of Cheltenham...All they had left were Premium/luxury cars so we got top of the range brand new E class Merc...Pity we were only driving to Leicester and back in such luxury.....Can’t say anymore about the atmosphere in Leicester that afternoon and night and  the match ...still standing in SK 4 15 mins after final whistle singing our heads off along with the thousands like us who seem to feel compelled to stay and savour the reality of us making the last 8 of champions Leaguue....drove back to hotel at Birmingham airport as on early morning flight back to Dublin..having couple of beers watching highlights when 3 BT sports technicians joined us..They were on early am flight to cover one of the Wed night matches in Europe and they all said the King Power that night was the best atmosphere they had experienced anywhere....Met Kevin Kilbane in airport following morning and he said exact same....one of those occasions where everything fell perfectly into place and left me immensely proud of my Leicester roots.....

The best game I've been to bar none.

 

Ended up missing my connecting train afterwards so spent the whole night wondering around Birmingham Station and the town centre but all worth it lol
