Brighton HA v Leicester CITY

Recommended Posts

One thing is nailed on is that Murray will score (probably a penalty) and the Brighton fans will all start chanting England's number 9. Can' believe they were so pissed that a 34 year old who has done nothing in his career until a decent run this season should be considered for the England squad. I know we aren't blessed with strikers other than Kane and Vardy but it would be scraping the barrel to have him on the plane to Russia.

Back to the game. If we play like we know we can we will win 2-1/2-0. If we play like we often have done this season we will scrape a 1-1 draw and have 80% possession, 25 corners and 30 shots, of which 29 will be long range efforts off target.

Izquierdo has looked quite solid for them, and they appear dangerous with the set-pieces (Murray a good target man in particular).

Can see the result being 1-3, with Dunk (OG) and Vardy amongst them imo.

Just seen that James is injured so that could be him done for the season as doesn't do little injuries. Be good to see silva Iborra and ndidi in the middle mahrez vardy diabate up top. Be nice to go 1-0 early doors and then they will have to attack leaving lots of space for the counter.

Please please please don’t concede between 35 and 45 minutes. Again.

The last game was on another level for conceding just before half time. Goals conceded just before half time, and just before half time in extra time. We really have taken that ridiculous habit to another level.

When we played them at home you sensed that they weren't quite ready, their squad was still being added to and they hadn't had time to settle into their groove. Now they have and they play decent stuff, the cutting edges up front are producing goals to go with their tidy approach play, I still feel they must be vulnerable at the back but they'll be confident, extremely well organised and will be nothing like the rather timid side that lost at our place.

1-1 if they score the first goal, 3-1 to us if we score the first goal, even with their discipline and organisation they'll have to push forward which could suit us.

Bring us back some rock, some saucy postcards and three points please.
