HighPeakFox Posted 27 March 2018 Posted 27 March 2018 Isn't Knocky suspended? Oh, and Charlie Adam has been sent off...

Ian Nacho Posted 27 March 2018 Posted 27 March 2018 This is the classic don't win FT meltdown game. 1
Guest Posted 28 March 2018 Posted 28 March 2018 Inspired by England, I think we should go with 3 passing, mobile CBs Dragovic Maguire Knight 2 attack minded Wbs Albrighton Chilwell a midfield 3 Iborra Ndidi Silva And a speedy and tricky front two Diabaté Vardy Guaranteed 1-3 victory Vardy, Diabaté, Knight (Knocky for them)

I like it!
Ted Maul Posted 28 March 2018 Posted 28 March 2018 I think we could have some success against these (as long as we put in a proper performance). From what I've seen of them, their full backs like to bomb on and could leave them open to the counter. As long as we attack with intent, we could cause them problems. Still, they're a good side and will no doubt cause us problems too- Hughton is doing a cracking job there. It's about time we won down there- I'm going to say 2-1 us, Vardy, Iborra and Murray to score.
TheLittleBigMan Posted 28 March 2018 Posted 28 March 2018 If we don't feel confident in beating a team like Brighton there''s something wrong with us. We look descent away from home and with vards in a good run of form I can't see them stopping us. 1-2
st albans fox Posted 28 March 2018 Posted 28 March 2018 When we played them at the KP they were absolutely dire as an attackin threat. No penetration whatsoever. they are better now in this respect and capable of a decent performance against the stronger PL sides. If the boys really are serious about finishing 7th then we should see a good performance. Perhaps their minds will still be on their international breaks and the World Cup ahead.
Ian Nacho Posted 28 March 2018 Posted 28 March 2018 Would be interested to see us play a similar style to England with Simpson in the Walker role.

lgfualol Posted 29 March 2018 Posted 29 March 2018 Reckon Knocky will score and Ulloa will give Morgan a hard time. 1

ZeGuy Posted 29 March 2018 Posted 29 March 2018 If we lose this game it will be better avoid this forum until the next win whenever it comes. I'm smelling an eventual meltdown of epic proportions, especially after being starved for two weeks.

England were very average against 2 sides that are down and out after not qualifying for the world cup. Not sure we want to copy their style for the moment
Ted Maul Posted 29 March 2018 Posted 29 March 2018 (edited) Opposition thread: http://www.northstandchat.com/showthread.php?362855-Should-the-Foxes-really-be-quite-this-confident Quite an amusing read in parts. People mistaking the predicted Leicester wins as arrogance, some still offended about us binning Ranieri, the token post slating Vardy, etc. The usual, really. Edited 29 March 2018 by Ted Maul
