Maybe I was paying too much attention but given it was a warm afternoon was surprised that Vardy came out wearing gloves. Diabate didn’t but then weirdly each changed their mind just before kick off. Diabate wore gloves for the whole match too ?

We’ve kicked the ball out as a Newcastle players gone down and unsurprisingly got up soon after, Chilwell for some reason takes their throw in and throws it to a Newcastle player ??

Vardy and Diabate again, at the start of the second half they are both stood next to each other on the same side of the center circle, until Diabte had to tell Vardy he should have been on the other side

And a throwback to the old days where we had about 4 50/50 tackles in a row without the ref blowing up

did enjoy this yesterday. always gets the fans going and was one of the few things the ref got right yesterday to let it continue.

Quite right, none were fouls until the one on Diabate.

Shelvey hoofing it upfield from throw in was weird but annoyingly we kept letting him do it

Yeah that happened about 5 times. I mentioned it during the game.

We make throw ins look hard and have done for the past 6 or 7 years.

Chilwell did this twice yesterday, kicked the ball out himself and then walked over to go and take the throw in. Richie had to stop him from doing it the second time. Proper Jeff Schlupp behaviour

This frustrates me, our movement in general is none existent, but we just throw it to marked man, and nobody seems to try and run about to create space, and keep possession from the throw
