Riyad’s 100k will help but we have already probably committed to 175k with these three signings (assuming Maddison goes through) have to be sure of losing at least two on loan/sale (Leo/Mendy/musa/king) before we can consider buying anyone else.

Any knowledge of interest from other clubs for any of our players? I think PL clubs are not going to be so trigger happy in bringing in foreign based players over the next year or two. We're not the only club who have made many poor buys from abroad and now find we can't move them on as they're too well paid and we've paid way above their value. I could probably list 100 PL players who fall into this category.

Riyad isn't the problem. It's Ulloa, King, James, yohan, Wes, simmo etc who are all on big contracts and won't play. We can't afford to pay players ~ £50k p/w when they are not playing every week. 1

Matchday ‘Squad’ players at our level expect 50k/week, perhaps more. Buying youngsters has some advantages as their wages are not as high. Problem with some loans is that we likely continue to pay some of the wages. The biggest ffp issue we have is probably the annual increment in the salary total per prem league agreement.
