A big bogey has been layed to rest tonight. And after sorting out my sinus problem we went and beat Arsenal too! Way hey, we beat a top fo.. Ok top six side, great confidence and momentum to carry into the run of one game ahead.

Wonderful match to watch, plenty of effort, desire and above all a thumping good win against a very good Arsenal side. Hamza and Silva looked confident in midfield although the latter did tire towards the end. Commentary on the stream that I watched said it was the best game he had seen this season. Looking forward to seeing my Arsenal supporting friend tomorrow, oh and with the wippets drawing at Chelsea Swansea will fo down on Sunday. Happy days.

It looked like Puel was getting he summer anyway but it’s a pretty much certainty now. Huge summer for us, need to get it right because no one will make it as easy for us as much as Arsenal have tonight.

Whilst i agree to an extent, compared with what we've seen recently that was much much better. A 10 man arsenal is better than an 11 man west ham. Better performance, better result and We actually showed some fight. Oh and we finally beat Arsenal!

Seeing posts saying puel has got it right and we are back to our best.

 

Couldn't  be far from it.

The reality is it’s a team which are 3 places higher and have a wage bill dwarfing ours. We are average

Thoroughly enjoyed that and I’m going to enjoy the evening ripping my mate who’s a die hard arsenal fan but never been to a game. But that performance  has raised more questions than answers for me. Where do we go from here? Feeling much more positive about next season though, even though it was only one game.

Whatever happens now with Puel, he‘ll go down as the manager that came to the club...and beat Arsenal.

It’ll be a question in future footy quizzes.

To be fair, ten man or not, that was a good result tonight.

To the players who are deeply confused and cant understand Claude Puel.....

If youre capable of THAT, under a manager you supposedly find confusing, dont ever give any of us any of your horseshit excuses for not giving us that on a regular basis.

Stop hiding behind your player power and piss weak excuses, and do THAT.


People enjoyed the game and reacted positively to what you did.

Youre all more than capable, as youve proved tonight.

Including Puel.

My first thought was that they were chanting Wenger’s name as a sneaky effort to get him to like us enough to come here.

My second thought was that they were chanting this when our CURRENT manager was beating Wenger 3-1.
