Looking back through that it's even funnier how butthurt people got over the red kits recently given it's prominence in the 80s.

Also, we really did have some dross from JJB and Burrda. People moaned about puma but generally the kits we've had in the last 3 or 4 years have been pretty tidy.

One small detail I got a little chuckle about when going through this history was that in 2011/12, Burrda dropped the wordmark from their logo... because clearly, Burrda has more than enough brand equity that your average Joe can just look at those squiggly lines and know exactly who that company is.

I have this in a size that fits me and that is in pretty good condition considering its age.

I did however pay a premium for it due to getting into a very heated bidding war with who I found out after buying it was my girlfriend. We had kept out bidding each other to the point where we must have added over £25 to its value.

Amazing lol

This was the first City shirt I owned. When I saw the current replicas of these shirts in the club store I thought they were the wrong shade of blue. This photo confirms it, they were darker.

My Dad wouldn't buy me a shirt when I was younger, so I had to wait until I could save up some money by myself, which is why it took me until 1996 to get one...!  (Goalkeeper/Keller - not shown!)

Pretty sure this has been mentioned before. The Thais changed the shade of blue.
