Poor lad. not great from the keeper but a pretty shocking back pass to be honest didn't really help him out. A bit too much pace and a bit to directly towards him. I'd say 50/50 blame at least on the defender.

If the keeper ****s up then worst you'll do is concede a corner.

I was coaching my U11's the other day and was telling them never to pass the ball directly towards their own goal - aim wide, like you say. That was a really shit pass. Far too casual, didn't really look and didn't look like he "put a name on it". Hope Charlton go on to win this though....

Said they continued their row in the dressing room until Souness came in and threatened to beat the shit out of both of them! I guess he's grown up a bit since then...
