Central midfield workhorse I think? Meant to be decent. Would be up against Ndidi unless he's off?

I would love this formation should we get him

Kasper

Pereira - Maguire - Evans - Chilwell

Sturaro - Ndidi

Diabate - Maddison - Gray

Vardy

He would come with loads of experience as well - serial Serie A winner, Champions League experience and a little bit of international experience.

What does everyone say on here? GERRIMIN?

I'd like to think that our 3 attacking midfielders will be significantly better than that by the start of the season. Better be, anyway.

We would need like 3 or 4 cms to go to make this worth while lol

James, King, Mendy will go I'd imagine so that's done!

A quick, hard-working, tactically versatile player, Sturaro is capable of playing anywhere in midfield, but is usually deployed as a box-to-box, central, or defensive midfielder in front of the back-line, courtesy of his energy and qualities as a ball-winner, as well as his solid technique, and subsequent capacity to start attacking plays after obtaining possession.[24][25][26][27] Due to his physical attributes and ability in the air,[27] he is also capable of playing as a defender,[25] both in the centre,[25] or on either flank, and has been used as a right-sided attacking full-back or wing-back in recent seasons;[28][29][30] he has also been fielded as a winger on occasion.[31][32]

Regarded as one of the most promising footballers in the world in his position as a youngster,[33] due to his work-rate, stamina, composure, tenacity, strength of character, and ability to read the game,[27][34] his playing style has drawn comparisons with compatriot and 2006 World Cup winner Gennaro Gattuso.[26][33][34] Unlike Gattuso, however, Sturaro is also known for his offensive contribution, and his ability to make attacking runs and advance into good positions, which has also led him to be compared to former Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal.[27][35] Although right-footed, Sturaro is also capable of distributing and striking the ball accurately with his left foot.[27][36]

Yes.. strange one this

Some are even tweeting ‘please don’t take our best player’ type stuff in an ironic attempt to make it seem like a good buy!

not too sure about this although would be good legs to go with wilf and perhaps take some of the workload offf him.

Thing is though we then still have Ndidi, Silva, Choudhury and Iborra. If we bring in Sturaro then one of those will get next to zero game time and I'd hope that Puel would keep Choudhury around the first team squad to develop him as he did a good job last season coming in for Ndidi. Would Silva or Iborra be happy with little match time?

Every time I've seen him player he's looked absolute bang average. Quite an underwhelming signing if this happens, especially considering it's not really a position we need to stregthen at the moment.

Some Juventus fans on Twitter saying take him for free

You have to remember who they are.

They've won the title the last 7 years and compete in the later stages of the champions league.

He may well be better than what we have.

to be fair, if we don't get Maddison then Silva would fit that role, or you have Iheanacho there a bit more advanced.
