Why do we need this player? Our current CM options are strong, and we have depth in our choices!

Seems like a waste to me. Even if Iborra left, I'd rather we gave more time to Hamza than sign an average foreign player.

If you’re going by what @anan43346945 has to say, then please stay off Twitter during election season.

Not just by him but by the many serie A league fans wither inter fans are saying he should go for free lol

I'm not saying he's brilliant but Italian football fans are the most ridiculously partisan people in the world and on social media even more so.

If Sturaro once admitted to liking Milan as a kid or scored an own goal against Inter that'd be it for life. They'd tell you he's the shittest player ever and should die in a fire.

Subsequently, the fact he's a Juve player means fans of every other club are predisposed to loathe him.

Imagine being that paranoid.

He's probably not even Italian.

Probably sat in his bedroom in Yemen or something watching YouTube videos of Dybala and judging every footballer in the world by how fast they are on FIFA.

Im gutted we didn't go for Lemina last season tbh.

The reaction of the Juve fans isn't great but you can't read too much into it, you hope at the very least we'll have scouted him sufficiently to be in for him.

Am I right in thinking he would be our 1st Italian player since Mancini should he join?

Lol when many fans and a reporter tell me he’s rough I tend to believe them lol

Remember the Inter fans saying similar about Mr Cambiasso

There are always exceptions to the rule but if you took seriously the opinion of fans who watch a player week in week out you won't go far wrong. I remember Atalanta fans thinking they got great money for Benalouane and CSKA fans glad to see the back of Musa as he was so flakey.

I really don't want this player, Ndidi and Silva are probably our first choice next season and he certainly doesn't sound an upgrade. As things stand at the minute we have Iborra, James, Choudhury, Mendy, King and Amartey who can come in and fill that defensive central midfield role. This guy doesn't sound like an upgrade on what we have and will be another "meh" midfielder to add to the ranks.

I really thought spending good money on average players would stop under Puel and we'd either sign young talent or obvious upgrades to the first XI. This guy has waste of money written all over him.

I love how everyone builds their opinion on a player based off Twitter comments.

He may not have impressed at Juventus, but he was at one stage one of the most promising prospects in Italy and his style would suit us.

I usually go by the rule of seeing what the fan's say about him and it's not good!

Juventus level or not, they obviously are not impressed by him.

Obviously they are on a different level to us and he has been capped for Italy, so could he be that bad?

Apparently he wants to leave due to lack of game time, so I imagine he would come here for that and start alongside N'didi.

Very good stamina and tackler, but passing is horrendous - being the general consensus.

I am confident he will be an upgrade on James, King, Mendy and Choudarry, but maybe not by as much as we wanted.

Positives are, he is just 25 and was very highly rated not so long ago. Perhaps he needs a fresh start and we can get the most out of him.

Been compared to Gattuso before too...

Really? I thought he was a club legend for them?

Anyway DiMarzio has got things wrong on us before

At one stage he was.  But by the time we signed him there were Inter fans very pleased to see the back of him.

I'd generally agree with going by what their fan's say too.

I do think he will be an upgrade over James, Choudhury, Mendy, King and Amartey though. He has still had a decent amount of game time over the past few seasons, with one of the top 5 teams in Europe and with one of the best ever managers. Capped for Italy too and still only 25 and not that long ago, was being lauded as the next Gattuso.

I think if we are shifting James, Mendy and King, then that will more than pay for this guy and will mean we have a better player too, by how much? That will be the question. .

Like some of ours are with Wes.

Leicester City have offered €13m for Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro however the Bianconeri are asking for €20m.

Stefano Sturaro’s agent has warned that only ‘a high-enough figure’ would tempt Juventus into selling the midfielder.

“Juventus have let me know that they have no intention of selling Stefano. A high-enough figure is needed to sign him.”

Says the Welsh Liechester supporter, with a five-figure post count on a message board, is seen as a Football Manager guru on here and has a tendency to have hipster crushes on foreign cultures lol;)
