adamkhalifa Posted 14 July 2018 Posted 14 July 2018 Never seen this guy before. The YouTube clips remind me of Mo Salah. His finishing looks lethal. Wonder what his strike conversion rate is. Looks strong and shows good decision making. Gethimin
La-li-lu-le-lo Posted 14 July 2018 Posted 14 July 2018 Call me a cynical, but it seems more of a shirt selling exercise than a replacement for Mahrez. I’d much rather we stopped pissing around taking risks and spent £40 odd million on a proven player.
Foxes1 Posted 14 July 2018 Posted 14 July 2018 Our new Prince of Persia hope he is better than Hossein Kaebi

Happy Fox Posted 14 July 2018 Posted 14 July 2018 The lack of respect for my fellow compatriot is quite disgusting. He has proven he can perform in the Dutch league and has the potential to step up would rather pay the money on him, he won’t let us down yes it will take a bit of time for him to adjust but when he does he is going to rip the premier league up, and propel us to 7th spot. 1

No offence but this is why people are dubious.

It's purely the fact that there have been a few high profile transfers where players who have looked world-class in the Dutch league have come over here and been completely out of their depth, nothing more- Janssen, Klaassen, De Jong, etc. I'm glad we're going for him- certainly worth the risk at that sort of money. Far happier with this than Patrick Roberts or Andros Townsend.
Popular Post The Prince Posted 14 July 2018 Popular Post Posted 14 July 2018 I have to say this thread has been a pleasure to read. Almost no bitching, moaning or arguing. Fantastic input from our new Iranian friends and a good level of optimism without expecting the fella to get player the season. Its really interesting to hear how our club is viewed by people around the world. Clearly most see us as an excellent move on the back of our recent success. Having watched the the YouTube clips, I reckon this lad has got more than half a chance of having a positive influence. 5

This is the video I intended to link. Not so much the PKs, but some of these goals surely gives you the shivers. Specially if he scores it on your team. Some class finishes on there, but not sure about some of the goalkeeping... 2
Scotch Posted 14 July 2018 Posted 14 July 2018 I think what he lacks in pace, he makes up for in physicality. From the clips I've saw of him he seems able to just shrug of challenges which will serve him well here.
Guest Hoorad Posted 14 July 2018 Posted 14 July 2018 He is going to be a great signing I can assure you guys that. This may be one of the biggest bargains of the transfer window after the season is done. Hopefully this goes through
