Remember 11 players have been at the world cup so probably won't feature in any of our friendlies. 3 is probably a bit light but guess understandable. Sure we will play more.

Gazza M Posted 17 July 2018 Posted 17 July 2018 I think with the WC and little rest time, the club seem to have abandoned a pre season as we know it. I expect this to be a mixture of youth and experience, with the two other friendlies being pretty much the match day squad for Man U trying to gel on new tactics, systems etc.

CloudFox Posted 17 July 2018 Posted 17 July 2018 Really does expose how few outright 'first team' strikers we have available though: Staying Vardy - on leave Kelechi - on leave Okazaki - on leave Leaving, unused or out of favour Slimani - not training Musa - on leave/leaving Ulloa - likely to leave Youth on the verge of first team due to age or ability Eppiah Muskwe Gordon Saying that, the fact all three of our first choice strikers is on leave due to their contributions at the World Cup makes me pretty darn proud.
