If we are actually paying about £12 million on him then we've lost the fvcking plot.

 

If anybody thinks Ghezzal, Albrighton, Gray and Diabate as our wing options is good enough then you're absolutely deluded.

 

I hope to god Ghezzal is back up, Diabate gets put with the Under 23's and we end up signing a bigger name like @themightyfin promised ;)

Don't know much about him, but if he wasn't good enough to challenge for a regular place at Monaco, why is he good enough for Leicester in a more demanding Premiership? At 26 he should be approaching his best, he's no longer a prospect. Sounds like an older inconsistent version of Gray or Diabate. Sounds a good bit of business for Monaco.

The 14 million Euro are a myth, rumours based on a tweet two years ago (when Ghezzal was still at Olympique Lyonnais and red-hot).:giggle:

 

The amount of gullible fans... Surely no club would be willing to spend almost three times the amount of the player‘s actual worth??? :ph34r:

We'll unlikely never know the price but as you say, it was initially reported by several sources to be £4-5m.

Rachid Ghezzal (Arabic: رشيد غزال‎; born 9 May 1992) is an Algerian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Premier League side Leicester City F.C and the Algeria national team.[1]

He began his career at Lyon, where he made his debut in October 2012. He played 119 games and scored 13 goals for them across all competitions. In August 2017, he moved to Monaco on a free transfer.

Born in France, Ghezzal represented France at under-20 level. He made his senior debut for his ancestral Algeria in 2015 and was part of their squad at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations
