Sarri should have walked onto that pitch and dragged him off.

Fully agree. Even if you think your mgr is a twat you must respect the decision.  Sarri shud have risked a red card to do that

Disgusting that. Yes it’s shitty that you’re not trusted for penalties and probably could have been handled better by Sarri saying before the game ‘if it goes to pens Willy is coming on’ BUT you never undermine your manager like that.

Should be dropped from the team for a long long time.

Definitely, it's a sign that player power has won. Complete disrespect.

I'd rather have Danny ward in for penos than Kasper do you think he'd lose it?

I doubt he'd be happy but I don't think he'd refuse to come off.

To be fair, he did try to get him off. You’ve got to see Kepa’s intransigence to believe it.

Then the ref stops the game until the stewards come and physically carry Kepa off the pitch. The ref is the absolute authority, you can't have a player hold the game to ransom, he's gotta be stronger.

There’s an important lesson in there for all clubs, but especially ours, about what happens when you let the players run the dressing room.

I'd rather have Kalac in for penos than Poole do you think he'd lose it?

That’s easy to say but hard to do in practice. There’s no protocol for this.

I’m no Moss fan but I thought he did ok with what was an absolutely absurd situation.

Sarri was clearly inspired by Martin O'Neill's Zeljko Kalac substitution.

Guarantee if he brought Caballero on, Higuain would have shinned one in from 25 yards out in the last minute of added time

Not up the ref at all?

He stops the game while Chelsea make their changes. It's up to him to quicken things up if they're time wasting and he did that.

If Chelsea can't control their players then that's their fault.

In fairness, Moss was not the one to blame in this situation. The board hadn't gone up and the substitution hadn't been officially confirmed. I thought he handled the situation well by going over to the Chelsea bench and asking if they were going to make the sub, or whether he could continue the game.

Started walking down the tunnel then realised if he quits then he won't get the £10m compensation he'll get when they sack him :D

Imo this is why you need leaders in the team. I’m convinced the reason we didn’t crumble from the pressure in 15/16 was not only because we were better than everyone else but we also had about 7 players in the first team who could have been captain.

In addition to that we had experienced heads like Schwarzer, King & Ulloa on the bench. On top of that we even had Inler in reserve who has captained his club and country.

Having these type of leaders around on a day to day basis is motivation in itself to perform.

Currently, it’s great we’re promoting youth but we need a good blend. We need more leaders and captain material players to show the youth how it’s done and get them through the rough patches.

Not just that, they were all humble enough to know that the buck stopped with Ranieri and Wes.

All well and good having many leaders but you need to respect the authority that your captain and manager have.

Worth noting that Azpilicueta was nowhere to be seen when all this was going on.

But that wasn’t the situation kapa had gone down on 2 separate occasions needing treatment to his leg
