Guys,

Popping back to Leicester Town this Sunday for a short stay over before our flight to Vegas.

Any new Indian Restaurants I should be aware of?

Don’t bother with restaurants. A lot of pubs do better Indian food and half the price restaurants charge. 

Sports bar Oadby, The Broadway Abbey lane, Himalaya, The Clowes. Paddy’s Marten inn is popular but I think it’s overrated tbh.

Feast India on Melton Road is alright if you fancy buffet-style cuisine.

Red Rose in Syston is my Indian of choice. Decent prices and never had a bad meal.

Red rose is ok, but i really like the Restaurant with the tree in the garden with the blues lights on it. Always forget the name but i love the food and its very reasonably priced too.

Kayal is my favourite: http://www.kayalrestaurant.com/. Chutney Ivy, Mem-Saab, Lilu and Chettinad are pretty good too.

I often grab a Bombay Bites chappati as I walk down to the ground on matchdays. Would love if the ground offered local concessions to local businesses so you could get something as spicy and delicious as that at the ground itself!

The Spice of India. I used to like it in there but my wife had a bad meal in there about 10-15 years ago and I'm not allowed to go in there now.

Spice of India, yes thats the name. You really need to use your powers of persuasion and get your wife to go back in there. Its changed a bit but not that much, the staff are lovely and very welcoming and they have some really nice specials on their menu.

10-15 years is a long time lol.

i can tell you what is a waste of money, the grand durbar. absolute rip off for just above average food.
