I didn't go to the game today and tbh wasn't paying that much attention to the radio but Albrighton had a productive game by the sounds of it.

So under rated always gives 100% shame a few more can't. Simmo same mould but gets no credit for what he's done.

Loving this season and think we shall pull off another shock. Shame some won't give it time.

Easily our best player on the pitch tonight. Absolutely everywhere. Left flank, right flank, middle; he even gave his customary defensive duties too. His work rate is simply phenomenal. He doesn't get enough credit for the quality of passes he makes to the final third. The fact we got him for FREE is just absurd.

Deserved a goal tonight for all his efforts. Thought he tried too hard to get one at times but what a workhorse he is for a winger. Reminds me of Milner. Would happily play anywhere on the pitch and still give all the effort and energy he has even though he's not blessed with the silky skills or pace a winger usually would have.

Easy to see why we won 4-0 from that clip, our players had so much time on the ball in deep areas and Fleetwood were surprisingly high up the pitch. Suppose that's what happens when you make 11 changes and you're Joey Barton though.

It was good for squad players minutes but we can't take much from that game at all.

Strong side we put out, great strength in depth Now, gives Puel a headache as to who’s starting on Saturday after Albrighton MOTM performance . :appl:

One of my absolute favourite players of this era. A consumate pro.  Head down, gets on with his work and always gives 100%. He has more quality than people give him credit for too.

Those passes were great. In particular the assist. The one with the outside of his foot was spectacular. I know there was time and space but the vision and weight of pass was terrific. If that was De Bruyne, the media would be going crazy explaining how that is an example of why he's one of the best players in the world.

Bloke is a great servant. Gets little of the recognition he deserves.

I agree entirely with the first part but I think he actually gets a helluva lot of recognition! It seems to me that 'underrated' and 'undervalued' are words that are very often used to describe him... which, perhaps oddly, suggests to me the opposite. I think everyone knows his value!

I agree with the first part of my post AND the second.

Hate to be that guy but he doesn't provide enough goals or assists. Nor is he creative enough. He can cross a good ball but it's quite damning on Albrighton that Pereira is better in Marc's natural position

When players main praise is their work ethic it's kind of a back handed compliment. I see it with Okazaki too.

Decent player but how can he  underrated when 80% of City fans rate him?

It’s quite damning of our fans when people rate someone who has played 3 matches higher than one of our title winners that got as many assists last night as Ricky P has in them 3.

Outstanding last night, MOTM. Would have given him a rare 9 out of 10 but for the last 15-20 minutes when he both tired and tried to hard to get himself on the score sheet.

Don't understand the knocking of this guy. He is Milner-like in his steady reliability. Would always be in my match day squad, if not always starting.

As much I want to praise him for his workrate which is amazing. He was playing against dross and dregs from a subpar league, lets not get overly excited. Lets stick with what we are best at. Insults and negativity.
