Feel sorry for the bloke. 4-2-3-1 doesn't suit him despite all his best efforts. He's an out an out wide player - full stop. And one of the best if used that way. Shades of Vardy not being used to his best attributes.

Starting to wonder who of our players DO suit this 4-2-3-1 system Puel is so insistent on sticking to. You can't even say his own signings suit it!

I think if we was to go with 3-4-1-2 then Albrighton and Ricardo can play that position and change when required

Pretty shocked he didn’t get the nod to start Saturday and even more shocked he didn’t come on ahead of Gray. Ghezzal looks pretty average and Gray just never inposes

himself on a game. You can argue all you like about quality and technique but albrighton has far more influence over games that Gray and consistently

seems he just isn’t the managers type

Agreed much better than Grey and his attitude despite rough treatment from the manager is spot on

because when he starts he tends to have very little effect, his last start saw our right back with an average position higher up than he was

Gray changed our game Saturday, stretched them wide, is quicker and more dynamic than Albrighton, if you're looking for a hard worker than Albrighton is your man but we need more than that

If Albrighton is just a hard worker why does he have 3 assists and 1 goal in all competitions to his name compared to Gray who only has 1 goal.

Also Albrighton has only played 276mins and Gray has played 481mins.

So Albrighton is having a direct impact on goals scored every 69mins.

Marc Albrighton is like a cockroach! Why? Because he can survive anything! How many times has he been dropped by various managers over the years? But he doesn’t get upset or cause a strop, he just knuckles down, gets on with it and forces his way back in. He’s a lot more direct than our other wingers / forwards, preferring to play it first time when sometimes trying the cuter play would be better. But his energy and attitude is top notch and he’s proven time and again he has quality deliveries too. What I like most about him is that he’s got a terrific engine and a bit like Vardy helps get the team going.

He’s got to be the most underrated player to play for us, sometimes I feel even among our own fans! You can’t help but love the guy!

Respect also to Puel for bringing him back in and also improving him. I feel like he’s a lot less one dimensional now.

Honestly, his right foot is just a wand. Some of his passes are incredible

He is unbelievably accurate with some of those crosses/centres too. I wish there was some stats on that (no I don't, really I don't)

There are times when I see him scurry to the ball, turn, drop his shoulder, cock his trigger foot, that I say to myself (in my best Graham Taylor impression) 'can we not launch it'.... and darn me if he doesn't drop that cross on the button. Time and again. With an unerring accuracy. I swear he doesn't even look but somehow delivers a peach of a 9 iron.

The one for Madison today was just top drawer stuff, even by his standards, but it is the sort of thing he can consistently do. I reckon he's just about the only player I've seen that I'd back to do it time and again.

Just a class act for us. Not the most fancy player we have but he never lacks for effort. Many of our fans have said his days are numbered over the years but he keeps proving them wrong. Bravo Sharky.
