I agree. Tbh I think Slimani would have been a better option. Not that I want Vardy to go.

I don’t want to see him go, but in puel style his strengths are wasted, it’s more technical, and vardy is a more over the top, pace and no time to think and react player.

Slimani would have been great, said that when he left, played the more technical game at sporting, and we seem to throw the ball in the box, with only vardy in there, and his threat in the air is something we lack.

Why is Chilwell always picked on lol Fuchs is slower than Morgan.

Fuchs is a miles better full back than Chilwell even at his age - he is positionally so much better and also delivers a quality ball whereas I do think Chilwell would be a better wing back as he can then drive forward using his athleticism without being exposed as much defensively.

Chilwell is like many modern full backs he does not sense or smell danger defensively whereas CF is probably the best left back we have ever had.

What style?

Passing it around, using width from the full backs and inverted wingers. Fully using a proper Number 10.

You sack him and you have the same issue of the manager assessing and finding his best 11. Manager is then stuck with that 25 until January. 5 Games in, sacking him is a bad idea

It's been a great success hasn't it. It would be such a shame to lose that.

The most worrying thing is that against teams that we will most likely finish around we have played poorly & been very fortunate to come away with 6 points.

I want Puel to succeed but judging by performances so far I just can't see it.

We have a lot of possession but very little end product.

As a kid I remember sitting on the wall and watching David Nish … rose tinted spectacles maybe but I would say he was better than Fuchs.

Okay we sack him, who do you get?

That's not my job to find out. Whoever anyone suggests someone will find fault with. Sticking with an obvious failure because you can't name a guaranteed success isn't a very good plan imo.

And pick the ball out the back of our net. Really good on the eye though, as long as you don't enjoy scoring.

It's also not your job to sack him, if we're playing that game.

He isn't an obvious failure though. We've got a young team, we'll be inconsistent, but you can see what he's trying to do. I fully believe it'll come together

If it was he'd have been long gone.

Its all about opinions I too saw Nishy who was quality but for me Fuchs has just got it all!! I feel we are missing a trick when we play 4 at the back as CF has a couple of seasons at the top left in him and if he was playing I think he would stick around beyond the end of the season but …..

It still stands, 2 lucky wins and 3 losses, 2 of which we did play well in, granted.

I want to see how the team and Puel now react. That will tell me a lot about whether Puel is the right man for us

Today was the first poor result we've had all season. I also felt the scoreline wasn't a fair reflection of the game... 3-0 down at half time... sure we made some mistakes but that makes it seem like we were battered when that was not really the case.

10 games is a better time to make a judgement in my opinion. Have to beat them and put in a good performance versus Huddersfield otherwise things will get nasty.

How many years do you want Puel to stay?

4, then for him to return home and take his rightful place as the king of France.

Oh you wanted a serious response?

When have we actually played well?

Man Utd we were OK in spells, but too passive with the ball and created very little. Yes it was Man Utd but they got turned over by Brighton the week after.

Wolves, we were poor, we got outplayed by Wolves for most of the game, got the jammiest clean sheet ever and got 2 flukey goals.

Southampton we were terrible, and edged a dreadful game because Southampton were terrible too.

Liverpool, we again were OK, but Liverpool beat us in 2nd gear.

Bournemouth - we've been humiliated. Defending comical.

Not seeing anything positive in Puel at all (barring perhaps he had a good transfer window). 5 more games, if there's no improvement, I'm jumping on the Puel out wagon.

Totally agree but as long as he picks players regardless of performance it won’t improve. People going mad for Chilwell. His end product both ends is pretty horrific. Gray is being gray and in my opinion won’t ever be a consistent player at this level. And as for his captain. Well I’m sure he will be back after his one game ban regardless

Puel's stubbornness worries me. He needs to have a real good look at today and see that this wasn't just a bad day at the office, it was a failure of the system he attempted to play out there. I expect some changes for next week, not personnel wise (other than Wes!), but system wise!

To be fair, there were a few good through passes in the first half that simply required better finishing...

Fuchs is a better full back than Chilwell.

Albrighton has 3 assists and 1 goal in all competitions compared to Gray's 1 goal.

I think both Fuchs and Albrighton should start at least for the time being, as they will provide some stability both defensively and going forward.

Just because you are younger that shouldnt give preference Fuchs and Allbrighton a far better combination than Gray and Chilwell  as was shown against Fleetwood  you can only  only play  against  side fielded against you and regardless of opposition best performance of  season  only for Fuchs and  Allbrighton to be dropped. Allbrighton comes onand even with10 men scored twiceand should have scored another.

It's a strange situation. On one hand, Puel seems to have done some good things off the pitch but if you call it as you see it, it's very difficult to pinpoint any major improvements on it. We pass it about a bit more yes but we don't look any more effective imho.

I want Puel to get it right but we've been pretty shit this season if I'm being honest.

We got picked off today because we played too open and weren’t patient enough .......
