lol People saying Hodgson.

I was the only person that wanted Hodgson when we sacked Ranieri and I got laughed at by everyone.

I'm no fan of our Claude and also not a fan of these so called youth policies (imo implemented because of the numerous failed/failing transfers), but I have to say I find it harsh that 5 games in and with 6 points on the board the tide seems to be turning against him.

The worrying thing for the club is this guy will always be a couple of bad results away from huge pressure and will need to go on an incredible run to win any favour with the majority of fans.

I honestly feel he's put himself in an impossible position by discarding a system and many of the players that have served us so well so quickly.

I didn't want to vote for any of the managers listed, but wanted to see the poll results, so I picked Warnock, thinking I'll be the only one.

11 of us.  lol

know what you mean vaca.

it's like being presented with a list of 'select a way of how you'd like to die.'

the Warnock option, i see as .....a  toaster dropped into the bath, as a method of death.

People also ask for Rafa, who has always played a defensive game which isn't great on the eye either lol

The OP should soooooo have put an invented Spanish or Portuguese sounding name in the list.

Raul Sanchez or Pepe Balboa.

I think it's more of a hangover from last season's dreadful run. Many seem to forget that he has over a season's worth of games for us now.

He deserves more time but he needs to start getting things right, as the excuse of needing more time, can only wash for so long

If we were to approach Benitez, I imagine this would be the result:

Vichai: "As you can see, you'd have access to state of the art training facilities, a well-balanced squad, nigh unlimited transfer funds, and the complete backing of FoxesTalk. We'll even throw in this Nando's coupon that Rudders found down the back of his sofa. How 'bout it, lad?"

Rafa: "Sounds good! Where do I si-"

Vichai: "There is one small condition, though. Nothing major."

Rafa: "Go on."

Vichai: "We're mates, right?"

Rafa: "This is literally the first time that we've met."

Vichai: "Okay. Well, it's nothing unreasonable. It's just that Wes Morgan needs to be the first name in all of your starting lineups. No exceptions."

Rafa: "...."

I'd be torn on Benitez, he gets results and I think most of us just want a team and system that makes sense but he's completely at odds with blueprint this club has right now. He's usually in favour of experienced players over younger players, where you need a blend and recruiting a whole squad of experience usually sees a lot of money wasted and not recouped.

He'd be a solid option and might get us back in to Europe but he'd have his critics.

Least Rafa's got proven success with his style of football, two european cups with two different team plus he's won europa league.

Yeh and he’s got 1 point this season and its only taken him 5 games.

Yeh it’s the way the lost though. No  intention to attack, just trying to minimise the damage. They did get a point at Cardiff I guess and only lost 3-1 in the cup against the mighty forest ?

I grant you that the performances there have nog been great but you look the personnel of the squad, there's little he could do. But base it on what he's done there over the last few years, okay first season relegation, not his fault brought in far too late with something like four or five games to go with club being five points from safety. Second season they bounced straight back up managing to keep some of their players. Third season on a small budget they finish tenth and in there first season back.
