They will still be there when the next manager comes in, those using it as a stick to beat Puel need to consider that next time these players could be knifing a manager you quite like, just because they aren't getting their way or aren't in the team.

 

It's not on, no matter who is in charge. I gave the players the benefit of doubt over Ranieri, but I think I was probably wrong now.

Time for the owners to back Puel and tell all staff it's his way or the doorway. Otherwise this will never end.

Wouldn't be shocked, dropping Vardy and playing Soyuncu (hinted at earlier by someone) are big calls if true. Chuck in the discontent, other manager rumours... it's starting to seem inevitable.

Laughable really, every season we give someone 8 or 9 games and then boot them. We then wonder why every season ends up a disjointed mess. People slate the recruitment, but it's going to end up a mess if you keep changing the manager as they will all want different types of player.

I think some supporters have a very unrealistic view of LCFC's place in world football.

You can be mid table and play some exciting games every now and again. I don't expect to win the league or even finish top 7. Just want a decent 90mins

Puels name has never rang out around the ground. Bloke has been here for over 12 months and still does not have a chant.

Lets hope a bit of benchwarming fires Jamie up for a super-sub matchwinner at the end. He does need a bit of shaking out of his comfort zone. 

 

I think there is some truth to not suiting Puels style of 4231 passing football, but it certainly seems to suit the rest of the team. Can we really build consistent success with such a mismatch? Can we build a new team based on a 31 year old striker whose game is based on pace? or is it time to try a different striker? lets see if Nacho can sieze his moment.

Totally. The most ridiculous thing for

me was that the first 30-35 minutes against Arsenal, I thought we were genuinely good. Genuinely good. It actually looked like Puel was winning the battle. The results haven’t been awful, so why not wait and let him add that element to the fragmented elements of excellent play? Didn’t want him sacked last summer or now. Not for any loyalty to him, but for exactly what you allude to - that at some point we have to commit to a manager for an extended time. ?
