If Vardy doesn't start today, hopefully that means that Maddison will play in the centre behind Iheanacho.

He's more effective there than out wide and drifting in, I'd say.

We haven't actually been unbeatable with Vardy up front this season. I'm very happy to see an alternative possibility.

FT "we have no plan B, Puel out"

FT "We're trying plan B after Vardy's worst game in years, Puel out."

You forgot :

FT : "Puel has made Mrs Vardy like a tweet.... Puel out"

FT : "It's raining in Leicester.... Puel out"

I think this, and then Vardy will start for the cup game on Tuesday.

Why would you do that? I could give you a horse to back at that price instead of backing against your own team!

I never get this. I would rather chop off my left hand or shite broken glass for a month than back the opposition.

Regardless of who the manager is, these things shouldn't be leaked. He should have the ability to select his team and the players discuss the issue in private.

Going to the press isn't the right way to do it at all.

I agree but we don't really know what's happened or who's passed the info on. Perhaps CR's snake is still at the club. Or is CR's snake even employed by the club.

Not a “must win” game at all. Definitely one we’d be targeting as a winnable fixture but what are we, 9 or 10 games in & midtable? Let’s not get too carried away just yet.

I don’t think Vardy is undroppable, and frankly If he is dropped to the bench it wouldn’t surprise me one bit. He has, in the most been a shadow of his former self this season.

I just hope he takes it the right way and up’s his game. Or Is his ego bigger than his ability these days ?

Well if your job is 'supposedly' on the line, surely you will do everything in your power to secure it? Wouldnt that mean not acting irrationally and acting on a like from a players wife on a social media account?

Im not saying you or i am right, just how i see it.

Or maybe it’s because Vardy has only been training since Thursday.

Putting him straight back in the team  undermines the efforts of the others who are training hard all week that play in a similar position

Bingo. The club’s toxic in more ways than one. Players constantly making sly digs via social media or the press. Then fcuking off to Dubai or holiday resort as soon as they have one week off.

What was great about those set of players who won the title was that refreshing air of no elitism. Now they have bought into the elitism. Frankly I’ve had enough of it. Can’t help but feel that if you had a Huth like character on the training ground, the professionalism wouldn’t slip. Puel desperately needs to get a leader in who is professional by example

Agreed. The stopping of playing under Ranieri to get him out then plenty saying Shakespeare should take over smacked of too much influence. Somebody was going to need to break things up and Puel is the man currently and he's taking on some big egos whilst doing it.

To be honest, I'd rather have Vardy playing today, he's our best striker and on form the best striker outside the top six. But, the manager has the right to drop him/ put him on the bench and that decision not be leaked especially when he's under pressure. This goes beyond the manager in place, if any manager is having their team selections given away by players then it is very questionable and not fair.

Told you didn't see that one coming (although some here are saying it's not a surprise it's clearly a brave move.) ........Just saying!

Given that you couldn’t say anything to follow for several days, maybe it’s best you keep stuff which you can’t speak about to yourself fin ?

Otherwise it it leads to more unnecessary speculation which doesn’t help the club .......

would love to to know vichai and top’s  thoughts ....................

if if we go a couple of goals behind with ten to go then the KP isn’t going to be a pleasant place. - if kel misses a sitter there will be so much murmuring from the crowd .......... should be handled so much  this .......

Even though you're a cryptic fvck I still appreciate the info, part of the fun is trying to decrypt your hints ;)

The future could be in that Darned Jail Room if the top boys get their way.

No one trained on Tuesday.  He missed Wednesday (or did he ?)

I was just trying to see your reasoning behind your point, not questioning your post :D

Will be interesting to see the team selection, a riled up Vardy coming off the bench with a point to prove isn't a bad thing to have in the locker.

Interesting. I missed Monday's game so didn't know that. Sounds like Puel is trying different formations depending on the opposition, then. That's no bad thing.

I do think Maddison is better in the centre as he's already a real threat and influence there - less so out wide. Amazing to think he's only been playing at this level for a couple of months.

I'm still not sure how best use can be made of Iheanacho. He's improved this season in the deeper position, but is still erratic - maybe just a matter of time and patience.

He's a good finisher but doesn't seem to have great pace for latching onto counter-attacks so maybe not up to being Vardy's eventual direct replacement.

Time and patience required, I suppose. Plus, I'd hope that we'll be looking for an extra striker in January. We do lack options there when there are injuries, suspensions of losses of form.

I’m not in the Puel out club but if this is a realistic option we surely have to take it don’t we?

Baby and bathWater?

Only on stuff where you can’t say more because it materially affects the next game ( ie. this instance where West Ham would know on Wednesday that Vardy won’t be playing Saturday)

letting people know that influential members of our hierarchy are actively persuing a new manager is good ?
