dyanmark Posted 5 December 2018 Posted 5 December 2018 I would say in all seriousness pitches will not be usable until summer 2021.There s a monster earthmoving job to do on the site before anything gets started . And still the chance of finding some more newts.

urban.spaceman Posted 12 December 2018 Posted 12 December 2018 Well at least we’ve got some training ground plans to drool over....

Guest WarehamFox Posted 30 December 2018 Posted 30 December 2018 Has anything started on site yet? I'm tempted to have a drive up but don't fancy the right hand turn back onto the A46 coming home.

I wouldn't got tomorrow, all of the Newts come out and have one ****ing massive New Year's Eve Party to piss off the locals. There's thousands of them

Drove past yesterday and could see some lorries in the car park but didn't get a good look to see anything in great deal. I'd guess the first thing they'll be doing is trying to flatten the land for the pitches?
davieG Posted 11 January 2019 Posted 11 January 2019 New images of Foxes training ground revealed New images have emerged of Leicester City’s stunning new £80m training ground. It will include artificial turf pitches, 30 bedrooms for players, dining facilities, an indoor training pitch, 499-seater spectator stand, a multi-sports hall, parents’ pavilion, a sports turf academy and 9-hole golf course. Mehrez Posted 11 January 2019 Posted 11 January 2019 There’s a few images on the KSS page i hadn’t seen before https://www.kssgroup.com/projects/leicester-city-fc-training-centre/
Wymsey Posted 11 January 2019 Posted 11 January 2019 There's talk of a 24/7 police presence at the location and some road alterations nearby (the latter obviously to ease as much traffic concerns as possible).
Rusko187 Posted 11 January 2019 Posted 11 January 2019 Works definitely going on, seen loads of construction work going on but couldn't tell you what exactly is happening. Looks like the old golf club house is still up though.

mad biker Posted 11 January 2019 Posted 11 January 2019 Looks absolutely stunning, the facilities will better anything any club has to offer and the location adds seclusion and class, onwards and upwards for LCFC :-)
Mehrez Posted 11 January 2019 Posted 11 January 2019 Hope the fence is big enough so that the likes of Bielsa can’t see over!
