Derby fan here.

 

I went out with a bird from Leicester 4 years ago and we had loads of cool bantz ,(amongst other things) on the Lestah Derbeh rivalry .. Leicester I think were getting promoted from the Championship that summer and I do remember getting her sucked into a debate in a pub in Norfolk where EVERYONE said Leicester would not last a season in the prem. .. that they would be relegated first season ...

 

 

 

Well how wrong we were. How wrong was I. How wrong we ALL were.

 

The Leicester story since I split up with her has been something to behold... Magical... Fantastical. ..epic.. and yes, fairytaleesque.

 

I'm so sad now and have shed a few tears.

 

She was right all along. And I couldn't see it. Lestah are cool .. Leicester City is cool.

I'm currently away in Norfolk, Sat in a peaceful part of woodland next to the beach at Wells next to sea balling my eyes out. 

 

I could never imagine I would grieve for someone I never knew on a personal level but this has hit me hard.

 

What a special family.

Can’t really add anything that hasn’t been said throughout this sad thread but feel I need to say something. 

 

my thoughts are with Vichai’s family. And of course it’s important not to forget others on board and their families. 

 

The story of Leicester City Football Club since the takeover takes a devastating twist.

Don’t wish to comment on that directly. However, looking at the crash site I would have to say that the pilot at the controls of that spiralling helicopter did an utterly heroic job getting it down where he did. That, in my opinion, was deliberate, selfless and brave beyond measure. He would have known the likely outcome.
