What that man has done for Leicester goes down in history. On behalf of all of Stoke City FC, we mourn the loss of your chairman, and all thoughts and prayers go to his family and fans of the club in these difficult times.

Ajax and Barcelona fan from Australia.  Probably the only post I'll make on your site, but my condolences to all the Fox's fans and the loved ones of those affected by this tragedy.  I understand he did much more for Leicester than just in a purely sporting sense, with donations to hospitals in the area etc.  

 

Shame the good people always get taken away too soon.

I witnessed the crash, was walking by the ground at the time. I know lots of other people saw the moment of the crash too but you’ve got me wondering if I should give a statement to anyone? Has anyone else who was there spoken to the police?

I am loath to speculate but I was at the last league cup home match and that thing was huge. Easily a metre cubed with half a dozen rotors spinning.

Not that it really matters right now but the police have confirmed a drone was not in use at the time, at-least not by them

Liverpool supporter here, just wanted to add my support to all Leicester City supporters out there at such a difficult time, like many supporters of all clubs we're all thinking of you.

 

I'd also like to offer my deepest condolences to all those affected by this tragedy.

 

Many years ago I spent a great time living in Rutland and started to go to Leicester on a regular basis. The atmosphere and warmth of the supporters was something I still remember fondly, Leicester City became something of a 2nd team, it was therefore a great pleasure to watch your fairy tale title winning year.

 

Take case of yourselves during this most difficult of times.

This is correct the drone was being packed away prior to the helicopters arrival. I saw this whilst walking back.

Just drove back over to the west Midlands after staying over after the game last night. Like nearly all on here I feel absolutely broken that we have lost this wonderful, gentle,  generous hero of ours.

I wanted to just give a shout out to @UpTheLeagueFox Geoff Peters who I thought was amazing on Talk sport. You have represented us and spoke eloquently and thoughtfully about this horror. You sir have done us all proud today.

 

The warmth from all the different clubs fans on here has been heartening too, but as a club today we are united, more so than ever, because nothing else matters. Hug your wife and kids that little bit tighter today because time, life and love is so precious.

 

Sleep well Mr Chairman, thanks for everything.

Wolves fan here, I was deeply shocked and saddened by this terrible piece of news. A remarkable man who clearly loved your club, so sad and my heartfelt condolences go to both his family and all you Leicester City fans.

I would like to think that the players, managers, coaches (past and present) would make a contribution because without our Chairman's investment many of them would not have got to where they are today

I really don't want to be "that guy" but there are no survivors. There'll be no official announcement until the club or family are ready to make one and the police have confirmed what's gone on. 

 

But if you're using that to cling on to hope at this stage you're not helping yourself, it's just denial. 

 

As awful as it is, they're dead.
